Because when you're rich as fuck it wont matter
I have 2 20 euro HDMI cables. :frogc00l:
Mushroom thing should be here soon
My brother bought a laser thing..I bought a 360 headset...good stuff.
>Expensive HDMI cable. Why would you buy anything beside 5 or 10 dollar HDMI cables?
because they last you longer, have types of metal better fit for transmitting signals or dunno, fit in your interior or something.
Prettymuch an idiots question here, but im looking to buy one of those laser pens for obvious home usage. I've got enough money to buy one, but whats the risk of customs opening up my package and confiscating it? i did a little research on the site and it said 1% of orders are opened by customs, but im not too sure..
My stuff finally shipped, woo! :D Well, it says "Packaging", but a tracking number appeared so I guess that means it's on it's way.
http://www.dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.42070
I'd buy that, if the price is what I think it is, then it's cheap.

Was quite a while since this thread was bumped, I am considering buying this pad. My parents tell me that I shouldn't buy it, but I really want it. http://www.dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.31523

http://www.dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.31523
I've seen that but never checked it out, just checked it out now and it's the best tablet I've seen so far. Has android 2.2
I read that it comes installed with 1.6 but you can however upgrade it.
Cheaper here... http://www.merimobiles.com/SmartQ_V7_Android_2_1_Android_Market_HDMI_OUT_p/meri0373.htm Then again I think postage is $30 so I guess it's the same. I has the same CPU you get in an Iphone4, OpenGLS 2.0 and you can get an 800Mhz Firmware.
Cheaper here... I think im going to buy it from dealextreme.
This is a surprisingly slow thread. Does anyone know if you can something that functions basically like an iPod/Zune but is cheaper? Also do the tablets have a microphone for phone calls? And can anyone recommend one of the cell phones?
because they last you longer, have types of metal better fit for transmitting signals or dunno, fit in your interior or something.
I'm just saying this as nice as I can. Please do not talk out of your ass. The ONLY difference between that 120$ monster HDMI cable and that cheap 5$ one is the NAME. Sure it has Uber gold plated nitrogen filled unobtanium cock tingling powers. But what that translates to with HDMI is nothing. Its a digital signal. Imagine this HDMI cables are like a light switch, They are on, or off. There is no dimmer, no middle.

I'm also looking for a GPS, should I a standalone one from DX or do the phones have functional GPS?
Ok then. I'm also looking for a GPS, should I a standalone one from DX or do the phones have functional GPS?
Most phones do have a generally OK gps system. Its not the best because well, its a phone not a gps device. Also you're going to be paying monthly for the feature depending on your carrier. As well as phone battery life. A standalone gps would be a better choice in my opinion due to the fact they are better constructed as a Device for what you're probably going to be using it as. I would try to stray away from the offbrand ones simply by knowing what gps is. Basicly your sending signals to multiple satellite in space which then juding by signal recieved 3 or more satellite do some math and judge from where the signal came. I'm not saying offbrand GPS cannot do this. I'm just stating I'd feel safer with a general brand one. They are not much different in price either. You also never mentioned whether it was for car or personal gps for geocaching or hiking. I'm basing this assuming you meant for personal/hiking/geocaching. Why spend $50 on a single cable with a 1 year warranty. If I get a $5 cable with no warranty and it breaks at any time whether its 2 days later or 1 year and 2 days exactly I'm only out 5 bucks. I go get another one and still spend less than one with a name brand and limited warranty.
I meant car, I know people who use their phone GPS for the car but those are proper $800 phones. I'll probably get both and see how the GPS on the phone works first. [editline]10:24PM[/editline] My music folder is big and growing, at 6 gigs it's not stopping now. Is there an iPod type deal with an outrageously huge harddrive? [editline]10:45PM[/editline] Oh durp I could just use an SD card couldn't I? Well what's an MP3 player with an easy and quick UI, a long battery life, has SD or USB support, supports filetypes and maybe has a radio?
My little green mushroom stand came.
Just a tip, if you're in the UK and want one of their BB guns, it'll work, I got one and there was no problems with posting it to the UK or anything. However the BB guns are shit, and as far as I know, the metal ones have been out of stock for a looooong time, I wouldn't hold my breath.
