So the trailer spoiled pretty much the whole movie :/ ?
That's what trailers did back then...
I remember this from Grindhouse. Ah how I wished it would be made into a real movie. FUCK YES!
Robert DeNiro + Steven Seagal = WIN-WIN! This could be the _Best movie_ of Robert Rodriguez... the cast alone is mind-blowingly badass (except for Jessica Alba and Lindsay Lohan :P) [editline]06:25AM[/editline] Funny he didn't include Salma Hayek or Benicio del Toro... the world would have imploded due to awesomeness [editline]06:26AM[/editline] Speaking of Jessica Alba...
Shame her haircut is so awful.
I thought this trailer was a parody when I saw it a while back. Didn't think they'd actually make a movie.
Agreed, I think it looks bad ass, though.
I thought this trailer was a parody when I saw it a while back. Didn't think they'd actually make a movie.
It started off as a parody/fake trailer, but I guess they realized how amazing the concept was and decided to turn it into a full fledged movie.
Shame her haircut is so awful.
My guess is Robert Rodriguez went for an 80's-late '80s kind of look... Which is where the movie takes place, judging for what I've seen in that trailer
It started off as a parody/fake trailer, but I guess they realized how amazing the concept was and decided to turn it into a full fledged movie.
they're doing the same thing with Thanksgiving and Hobo with a shotgun, too.
MACHETE [img_thumb]http://patrickwillems.files.wordpress.com/2010/01/machete-robert-rodriguez-poster.jpg[/img_thumb]
OH GOD ORANGE AND BLUE ASGDFGWSDFWGHFGAFDGWF:suicide:
they're doing the same thing with Thanksgiving and Hobo with a shotgun, too.
Hobo with a Shotgun!? Fuck yeah!!
I am so seeing this movie. Oooh Jessica Alba :fappery: with a gun :flashfap:
WTF this is an actully movie?
When I saw this and knew nothing about it I thought it was some 80's movie.
When I saw this and knew nothing about it I thought it was some 80's movie.
They did their job then... Making it look like an 80's movie.
Wasn't that this guys name in the Spy Kids films as well? Why do I know that :frown:
I remember this at the beginning of grindhouse.
I'm not sure if this looks awesome, hilarious, stupid. Maybe all three. I wanna see it. NOW.
Wasn't that this guys name in the Spy Kids films as well? Why do I know that :frown:
Well its click able in IMDB and states hes from Spy Kids. I can't believe this is pretty much a sequel/spin off of Spy Kids. Amazing.
Where is everyone getting the impression that this has anything to do with Spy Kids?
Even though on IMDb it says the movie comes out tomorrow over here, on an argentine movie portal it says the movie will be out on FUCKING OCTOBER 29TH, and it also says that date is not yet confirmed, since there are no movie distributors informed about such release in Argentina... I sent an e-mail about this to some bloggers from a pretty decent argentine movies blog, hopefully they'll double-check those dates for me, as I'm sure they probably have contacts and stuff... I need to know if the movie comes out either tomorrow or in October (that is, a friggin' month later than the US)... I can only hope the IMDb release date is accurate :/ I'll keep you guys posted!
IMDB also has the movie still listed as being in Post-Production. They haven't even put together a trailer yet (I mean a new one that shows this new movie) so it coming out tomorrow doesn't seem very likely. October seems much more believable.
Wow, both Machete and the priest guy starred in Spy Kids.
Well its click able in IMDB and states hes from Spy Kids. I can't believe this is pretty much a sequel/spin off of Spy Kids. Amazing.
Ahaha, oh wow. That's awesome.
Well its click able in IMDB and states hes from Spy Kids. I can't believe this is pretty much a sequel/spin off of Spy Kids. Amazing.
It's not. He just plays a character with the same name in both movies.
Wow, both Machete and the priest guy starred in Spy Kids.
Rodriguez likes re-using actors.
Well its click able in IMDB and states hes from Spy Kids. I can't believe this is pretty much a sequel/spin off of Spy Kids. Amazing.
It's like saying the pacific is a spinoff to "a night at the museum" because one of the actors are in both.
Danny Trejo has been in pretty much everything anyways. Shouldn't be a surprise to see him in two movies.
Danny Trejo has been in pretty much everything anyways. Shouldn't be a surprise to see him in two movies.
The thing is he's using the same name, he was Machete in Spy Kids as well.
The thing is he's using the same name, he was Machete in Spy Kids as well.
Considering how far along this movie is I think Rodriguez would have said something if they were actually the same characters and not just Trejo playing another character with a tough sounding name.

Guess someone liked this fake trailer too much.
