I came. A lot.
oh man, this ad actually works, I'm going to buy skyrim now
Swords don't make dat sound when you unsheath them
That was pretty cool, but I expected the Dovaakhin to be a little more muscle-bound.
Swords don't make dat sound when you unsheath them
ITT: "Sword no make shingy noise!"
How badass it must have been to play Dragonborn's role.
I did a little wee there.
Why are you guys complaining about the "un-realistic" parts of the trailer? theres a fucking dragon! its suppose to be unrealistic!
Why are you guys complaining about the "un-realistic" parts of the trailer? theres a fucking dragon! its suppose to be unrealistic!
I really hate that argument. Just because we are in a world of dragons, orcs or magic it doesn't mean everything supposed to be unrealistic. For instance if your character would be locked underwater you'd expect it to drown, no?. Would you expect him to carry a horse in his backpack? Would it be ok if he could fly for no reason? Everything that's not supernatural has to follow the rules of the real world or else it just chaos.

I CAME.
No it doesn't. That's why it's fiction.
So you don't expect characters that aren't magical to for instance breathe or surrender to gravity? Because if Frodo would just jump over the Black Gate with an explanation like "well, it's fiction" I'd be pissed.
So you don't expect characters that aren't magical to for instance breathe or surrender to gravity? Because if Frodo would just jump over the Black Gate with an explanation like "well, it's fiction" I'd be pissed.
If you're going to complain about that, then that dragon is the most illogical thing in the video. It would never be able to fly, it's simply too heavy.
The roar of the dragon made me ejaculate.
rerr.
If you're going to complain about that, then that dragon is the most illogical thing in the video. It would never be able to fly, it's simply too heavy.
When you create a fictional world you also make rules that world has to follow. And in most cases the fictional world is based on our world, it just has added, fictional things. Normal people there are just like people here and they have to follow the same rules. So all the things that aren't fictional are supposed to be realistic. And extending your arm like Reed Richards from Fantastic Four to draw a sword from your back is obviously breaking the rules that the fictional world is set to follow. And since humans there are supposed to be like humans here, meaning realistic, we can say that what he did was unrealistic. Now complaining about the dragon's realism would be like complaining about Balrog's or Olifant's realism from LOTR. Some rules that those things have to follow are different (or bent) than real world's rules, partly because they are not supposed to be "like the real thing" from our world. But they have to be consistent entire time. tl;dr Fictional things - (sometimes) follow fictional rules Things that are supposed to be just like the things in real life - follow real life rules
ITT: Point out every single bit that is wrong, impractical and unrealistic and whine like a baby.
I wonder what zoo they got the dragon from.
The discworld dragon breeder.
The discworld dragon breeder.
Ramkin?
Ramkin?
Yes, yes, Ramkin with her wooden cage.
Fuck slaying dragons, I'm gonna be a master gardener and chef
Is it just me or did the dragon's roar sound a little robotic?
Is it just me or did the dragon's roar sound a little robotic?
I liked it, better than your run of the mill regular dragon roar.
Is it just me or did the dragon's roar sound a little robotic?
It's the same roar from the trailer, and whenever I hear it I think of pottery. I don't know why.
Well if the main character is a dragon born, I guess he/she is no normal human right?
Refer to my last post, this argument is silly.
The shwing sound is cool even if its not actually possible. I have really high hopes for this game, I really really really hope it doesn't disappoint.
Refer to my last post, this argument is silly.
You know what's even sillier? Complaining that he drew a sword from his back. I bet you can't play Legend of Zelda without popping a blood vessel.
The sword is strapped pretty low on his back plus it's a short sword. Oh and he has a belt around his stomach connected to the scabbard that would help him as well. (Prevents the scabbard from "following" the sword upwards as you try to pull it out, resulting in it being stuck there) In this specific case, I think the sword could have been pulled from his back with ease.
If you really want to over-analyze it you can see that his left arm is pushing the scabbard up as he's about to take it out.
You know what's even sillier? Complaining that he drew a sword from his back. I bet you can't play Legend of Zelda without popping a blood vessel.
Quote me where I complained about it. I was only attacking the "it's fiction" argument.
Oh my god the sound that dragon makes is amazing
