I've never taken a friend home with me or taken to their home
I only "hang out" in school, and it involves my odd humor and weird way to speak
this thread is depressingly pathetic
My main reason is because I hang out with to many people at once a lot, my friends usually find their fun in breaking shit, burning shit, banging on windows, yelling, and I can't get my friend's attention if I want to ask something
Oh and my good friend acts like a complete douche around others
i don't really mind being alone i just prefer social interaction
being alone for a long while means having to do something productive...
hell it could be just form facebook chat or 13 year racists in xbox live it doesn't matter
After reading 1984, Here's what i feel. Nobody is real. All they are are just a figment of your own imagination. So yes you are alone. But only in your own reality. If however... You meet someone else's reality it would change that.
And then you get eaten by bears/wolves
Do people really believe that commonly happens in the woods
It doesn't, most animals bugger off when a person is around unless you get too close to their young

A sad truth
I was bullied 8 years straight. It scarred me for life.
My philosophy of life: friends are for pussies.
I think that knowing that you can enjoy your own company and being comfortable and unrepentant about that is greatly beneficial to ones outlook on life. It is good to have time alone and to reflect on things :)
forever alone?
I am always alone
I've loved being alone for my entire life, but sometimes I just need to hang out with someone to share my thoughts and ideas with them and talk about various things.
Being alone is fine, but I suppose I'm one of the few here who don't need to "recharge" or anything and can keep being with people. I'm honestly pretty much neutral to both.
u mad extra/introverts (which fyi you shouldn't label yourself)
I've been out sometimes in the early hours of the morning just wondering the streets. The eery silence combined with walking the middle of the road knowing no cars are coming and nobody is watching you
When I work and have to get up early in the morning, there is nothing better then this. I love walking outside in the cold and just take a deep breath and relax. It's the perfect way to start a morning. It's so utopian.
Well being alone means you are not around anybody.
I'm okay with that.
I just love to sit down for maybe half an hour or an hour a day, isolated in my room just staring into space and thinking about my problems.
It really helps me make tough decisions.
I also love staring at the stars alone, it's amazing.
Laying on the ground with your best friend just watching the stars is the best thing ever. It makes you feel so insignificant. I love it.
Lol, no.
It's much more rewarding to actually do something productive. Browsing forums is the least productive thing you can ever do.
I go out of my way to make myself be productive on my days off, it's rewarding and refreshing. My room is clean, I've made a few electronics projects, been on some bike rides, written some music, all kinds of stuff I wouldn't do if I stayed on here and posted all day.
Hobby=/=entire life
Disregard my previous posts, I straight up masturbate just about every second I'm alone. Hell, I've gotten off twice while typing this post- and I'm not even alone! :eng101:
Well, for quite a long time, I though I was the loner type. I was happy with it, i mean, I had friends but I didn't meet up with them all the time. Then, oh well, then I just was bored, and started to be more open to people, even strangers. I spend a lot of time with others, and now I'm certain I love to be around and with people, though being Alone isn't anything bad. Its more difficult to be alone than it was before I changed though.
I enjoy being by myself, but my parents always thing I have problems with being near people.
I just like being on my own goddamnit, why don't you understand...
Same here. So annoying, especially since they become worried for me because I like to be alone.

I'll be your friend (then steal your lunch money once you trust me)
My parents think I have no life...
Well, it's kinda true. :suicide:
I love being alone. Ample opportunity for masturbation.
Being alone often reminds me that I've got tinnitus. Other times, being alone makes me blare incredibly loud music.
Wonder if there's a correlation?

Bipolar disorder?
every single person is like that i think, bipolar is something totally different
I just spent 5 minutes trying to articulate a feeling I get all the time when I'm alone. Sometimes things are just indescribable. Have you ever forgotten everything for a brief moment? When you feel like there's not expectations, no responsibilities and nothing you have to be? When you're just existing, alone and as insignificant as you are at that point and time in the universe. And after that moment ends, you feel the gratitude, the happiness and the love for all things you never realised you should've thought were that important anyway? Sometimes, being alone makes you more connected than you ever were.

And then I did describe it, huh.
I love being alone especially on rainy days. Happy days.

Bipolar disorder?
Bipolar isn't "some days I'm y, some days I'm x", it generally lasts for months

Well yeah, I do other things, but my main hobby is computers. I play bass and a little guitar, ride my bike around different places, etc.
My alone time is usually spent making music, or researching random shit.
Alone time is best time!
Seriously. It just makes you forget your responsibilities and so called "expectations". It's a beautiful thing. Not having to worry about how I look or my behavior. I can just enjoy the company of myself.
For a few brief moments, the world is just...figured out. And you just think to yourself...
Everything is okay.
