The US stays on par or beyond with half the worlds military and be able to fight a two front war ie pacific and Atlantic with ease
Pretty much this.
The Vietnamese invaded America, as did the Iraqis. I agree with this man.
That was pretty much a skirmish, not an invasion.
Jesus Christ. But I am not Iraqi and I'm white.
hahaha what
That was pretty much a skirmish, not an invasion.
it was an invasion god shut up [editline]12:01AM[/editline] lots of americans died
Argh, damn you TH89 for being reasonably intelligent!
You certainly know how to flatter someone. [editline]01:43AM[/editline] Oh lord I have serious case of the hoff
That was pretty much a skirmish, not an invasion.
The Vietnam war was no were near a skirmish. Nor was the Persian gulf conflicts.
"military discounts" on everything
Damn, I love saving money.
not really, I'm against killing and the job of a soldier is to murder tell me how that makes me full of myself. [editline]08:05PM[/editline] lining your pockets off of war is a despicable concept.
We kill because they were trying to kill us and others.
killing an animal to survive is natural selection killing a little brown person because of paranoia and fighting their fuck up are two very different things.
What paranoia? If any person (may it white or brown), shooting or bombing you, would you shoot back? Do you have ANY will to live at all?
We kill because they were trying to kill us and others.
You slaughter because you pissed someone off.
What paranoia? If any person (may it white or brown), shooting or bombing you, would you shoot back? Do you have ANY will to live at all?
Well, I wouldn't piss them off in the first place.
Because the U.S. has a military first policy. If you don't know what that means then wiki it.
You slaughter because you pissed someone off. Well, I wouldn't piss them off in the first place.
I'm not shooting every fucking person I see, I shoot the motherfucker that's trying to splatter mine and my buddy's brain matter all over the ground. Well being American, people hate me already, same for Brits. Also we wouldn't be piss them off, if they weren't oppressing and killing innocents, so yea.
that's cute, you think American's are innocent and Iraqi's are savage animals I certainly hope you're joking.
Service member have levels of standards, I didn't say Iraqis, I said the motherfuckers that want to splatter mine and my buddy's brain matter. Yes people do hate you for single things. Afghanistan has Al Qaeda that was power until a few years ago.

That "motherfucker that want to splatter mine and my buddy's brain matter." (What?) is the result of America's fuck up.
trotsky before you take the morality highway to doucheville why don't you try to figure out that both sides are usually at fault; you are getting hyped over what you would go as far to call a genocide in your leftist wonderland where real problems don't exist I don't mean to flame, but by god, freedom isn't free
hey hey hey jerk jerk faced jerk jerkenstien [editline]04:49AM[/editline] jerk [editline]04:49AM[/editline] The Iraqi's are a result of failed American policies. [editline]04:49AM[/editline] America's fault, I'm afraid.
What else are we going to do, open a savings account? HAHAHAHAHA
Why does our government spend so much on defense? Because it's there job to defend us. duh
mexicans
If we were invaded by them then I would laugh in disbelief.
America sucks....lolly pops. Nearly everyone does. I saw you suck a lollypop brought from a shop in normal fashion.
I don't understand. Why do we have 700 military bases around the world? I mean, this is getting out of hand. I think we spend like 800 billion a year on our military. That's like 2500$ on each person. That's everyone in the US. I mean, isn't the terrible over paid military budget is what ruined the Soviet Union right?
Because... YOU TAKE OUR AUSTRALIAN CIVILIAN PLANES OUT OF THE SKY! Or south park style "YOU TOOK THERE PLANES!" And also... the rest of the world hates the US.... and country's like Australia and England use them as defense in case of WW-3
Well everyone knows that we in America like to stick our greedy, war-mongering noses into everyone else's business. :fsmug: . As a result, we get a little too curious about countries that already aren't exactly big fans of us, things escalate, and this results in most conflicts for america. I understand that volatile countries need to be kept in line, but maybe America could let some of our allies help keep the peace, instead of them having to come help us every time a terrorist bully pushes us off of the metaphorical swing set.
America is the king of all armies.
We're a super power, we need to remain that way?

Inconvenient, but right. I cant add much more to it. Then again, how can someone fully explain this war? There would be years of research to be done.

The US has had a stronghold in industry, which has sustained it a bit longer, but with the economic crash and recession going on, they can't sustain themselves much longer.
$622 billion on defense $411 billion on welfare
It's added up to over a UK Billion US Billion: 1,000,000,000 (in UK terminology, A thousand Million) UK Billion: 1,000,000,000,000 (in US terminology, a million, million) That's actually the main reason there's more billionaires in the US then the UK
Mainly because corporations make huge profits on wars.

They are standardized with everyone else. 1,000,000,000 == billion. US and UK. Prior to the 1970's standardization a US billion was a "milliard" or a thousand million.

We spend so much money on military because our dick stretches from sea to shinning sea.
This land is my land, this land ain't your land. I got a shotgun, and you ain't got one. I'll blow your head off, if you don't get off. This land is private property.
:fsmug:
