My dad just showed me a marijuana plant that is growing and he said that it grew from me throwing seeds in the yard. Then he told me not to tell anyone or he would pull it up. Sweet.

I'm more than happy that my parents are divorced. And in a way, I'm glad my second parents got divorced too.
Maybe it's just me, but I don't really value family as anything. I mean, just because you gave birth to me, or you are related to me, doesn't mean I have to like you. I dunno, I could go into more detail but it's not really important and I'm just throwing in my unnecessary two cents.

I just don't feel the need to create a relationship where nothing can go wrong and everything is forgivable to someone just because I'm related to them. That is a type of trust and affection that should be earned and proven, not blindly given by birth. That's just my view.
