All I can say about Diphenhydramine is that it is an experience. It's a look into mind of a schizophrenic at low doses, and a look into the mind of a full blown schizophrenic at high doses.
It's like going through the Tunnel of Love, except instead of love, it's madness.
The best thing is you come out on the other side okay, usually with full recollection of how fucking weird everything got. I got HPPD from my few stints with it, and suffered severe derealization for the few weeks following..
It made me question reality and my perception and just how flawed and broken the human mind can get. It made me see how bad my brain could glitch without me noticing - seeing spiders crawling from vents and thinking nothing of it, glass windows turning into water, and everything was constantly shaking, even when my hand was on it and I could feel that it was still. My dog Jude talked to me [a lot] and I saw a dead woman in my bath tub and became convinced I had murdered her, and broke down crying and praying [as an atheist] for my salvation.
I feel like I took a look through the eyes of a madman, and wanted more.

in my experience 500mg is the worst amount you can take and 600mg is the best, 700 is just way too much it hurts the hell out of my heart and makes my skin flushed
the best amount of DPH to take is 0mg
so last night I had like a nightmare where I was like poking this huge wolf man thing like a monster fucking thing with a scythe and I would poke it really hard and it would flip out and it killed me and it did this twice, the second time I jumped out the way before it started to dig into my back with its claws and eat me. what the fuck right? I woke up but I wasn't really worried or scared, just confused as fuck.
as for today I get to sit on my friends couch whiles he's at work and smoke weed, watched netflix. good day.
