I figured it would kill him instantly, but he was still moving and stuff, albeit barely, when the ambulance came. I dunno if it was just spasms or what.

It wasn't a tiny knife but it wasn't huge either. I'd say about the size of a butterfly knife? I don't really know, it was pretty dark and everything happened a little bit too fast to tell for sure.

Just possessing a knife isn't enough, knowing how and about as equally importantly, WHEN, to pull a knife is essential.

Pulling a knife to most people would seem like something that would disarm a situation, but often it does the opposite.

If you're forced to use the knife, it's essential that who you intend to use it on is within slashing distance and does NOT know you have a knife.

If there is more than two people, pulling a knife is incredibly stupid when you're alone, don't count on being able to wound three or more people enough to make them back down.
