Religion makes me sick to my stomach.
Wow, watched the whole thing. I knew they were batshit crazy, what with their protests making the news occasionally, but I had no idea they were this crazy.
So fucking sick.
I think in both of these WBC documentaries he's a bit confrontational. It would make a more interesting documentary if he tried to be sympathetic to them, as alien as they may seem to us.
Why?
I think in both of these WBC documentaries he's a bit confrontational. It would make a more interesting documentary if he tried to be sympathetic to them, as alien as they may seem to us.
I read an interview with him where he said that he was as friendly to them as possible, but he felt uncomfortable standing so close to them when they were picketing as he thought that people would think he was one of them.
If the "founding fathers" of the United States could see the future, then the US' constitution would be different. And better. Sadly due to the US constitution noone is able to do anything about them legally, such as lock them up in an asylum (or for the political correctness idiots, "Mental Hospitals"). Oh hell just enact Marshall Law wherever they go and slowly pick them off.
Alright look I don't agree with anything WBC does either but asking for them to be locked away or shot or whatever is just fucking stupid and juvenile. Saying something to the effect of "I win free speech would be amended for this sort of thing" is just as retarded because that defeats the purpose of free speech entirely. You are overreacting. Calm down.
It's a shame a lot of the teenage girls in the church are really hot.
If hot = Fatsack ugly, then yeah.
I feel sorry for all those young girls, all brainwashed by this bullshit. They look kinda cute, and it's such a waste of pussy. They could be acting like normal teenagers and whatnot, getting a boyfriend, living life, you know how it goes.
If hot = Fatsack ugly, then yeah.
What the fuck are you into, super hot models? I like models too, but you aim too high. Those girls in that church have so much hope, especially because I don't think they are allowed to express themselves in terms of beauty, because they resist that kind of stuff. If they left and cleaned themselves up a little, bought some nice clothing, used makeup, I would smoke their ass faster than a blunt.
I just feel like trolling them. All the american facepunchers should all get together, and plan for 1 big epic troll.
He clearly hasn't read the Old Testament. Just let it slide.
Actually, I have, and I doubt that you've read a chapter out of the whole book.
knowing that these people exist is enough to piss me off i am very, VERY surprised that these people are still alive, im also surprised that their home is still standing
knowing that these people exist is enough to piss me off i am very, VERY surprised that these people are still alive, im also surprised that their home is still standing
Martin Luther King Jr pissed off most of America and got a grenade through his window. These people have pissed off ALL of America and yet they're not only still around, they're flourishing.
ahahha 46:40
What's wrong is that they can actually quote the bible for their statements.
Actually, I have, and I doubt that you've read a chapter out of the whole book.
You said it's about forgiving and acceptance. As I recall, there are numerous examples where God unleashes his wrath upon people resulting in significant fatalities and sever suffering. Not to mention how The Bible condones the death penalty for almost every fucking crime ever (exaggerated).

The New Testament is where the focus changed from "Wrathful God" to "Loving and forgiving God".
I've never been annoyed by so much denial.
[img_thumb]http://i.imgur.com/8zYvw.png[/img_thumb] Don't know if anyone else saw this.
Oh Internet, how wonderful it can be at times when you enter the real world. [editline]18th April 2011[/editline]
I want to just walk up to them one day, slit one of their throats, then hold up a sign that says 'Thank God.'
Technically wouldn't they rejoice? I mean death is a judgement of God, so if anything they'd be saying thank God.
A lot of the God's wrath parts are in the Old Testament. The New Testament is where the focus changed from "Wrathful God" to "Loving and forgiving God".
My argument was that The Bible didn't just instil forgiveness and love.
I watched all of that and was honestly appalled.
I don't know about Giants and Dragons, but these people are truly monsters.
I felt really bad for the kid who was talking about how God hates fags. He's being raised by terrible people, and will probably grow up brainwashed.
I felt really bad for the kid who was talking about how God hates fags. He's being raised by terrible people, and will probably grow up brainwashed.
Exactly. The adults choosing that lifestyle is fine by me, as it's their freedom... but forcing children into such a culture is wrong.
Yay! Our opinions differ. :downs:
Yeah, he didn't stereotype, you did- what a dumbass. Honestly the family later in the documentary made me tear up, they looked trapped in this bullshit, they obviously knew they missed their daughter and wanted to contact her. They were clawing for excuses and the mother just didn't even try, agreeing with the husband, not even paying attention half the time probably upset, thinking about her daughter in her head. I feel bad for these people, and Fred Phelps seems like some racist old fuck who's using these poor people just to spread his own own bigoted agenda under the shroud of 'God's will'. Notice how Fred put the Asian in the back, and had nobody contact the guy all the time he was there. He apparently had to prove himself, yet others have openly joined overnight. He reminds me of the stereotypical old southerner sitting on his rocking chair on a porch.
It's a shame a lot of the teenage girls in the church are really hot.
The one that left is hotter.
:dong: Well that was a fun conversation. [editline]18th April 2011[/editline] And isn't it great... A freedom that endows us to speak our humble, but different opinions, endows these inbred fucks to spout ridiculous rants.
Well we're not gonna go communist if thats what you're implying.
Shame, some of them are hot :saddowns: [editline]18th April 2011[/editline] I just thought how interesting a resident WBC member would be for facepunch
The one that left is hotter.
The one to the left? I thought it was the one right there where I'm pointing who was the most attractive! ... :iiam:
All these fuckers need to commit suicide, then they can meet their 'oh so great god', they're so stupid and crazy I am surprised they haven't done it already. Hey, maybe we can convince them to do that, seems easy enough. also Louis Theroux looks like a mix of steve carell and eric werhiem. one of them is wearing an OBEY shirt. how fucking ironic.
