You're both excellent human beans, thanks.
Demon hunter? Lame.
So fucking hyped!
From the PC gamer article it seems like they've already a set "quantity" of the game, it's overall simplistic design, and are just pumping as much quality into just that design as possible.
Which is imo absolutely awesome.

Tripwire is what I'd call a AA studio. Good production values, decently sized team, easier marketing, but keeps the indie spirit alive.
Best of both worlds.
Yeah, TW is for the most part bro. IIRC there was some PR guy who was a dickhead and I'm not a huge fan of the weapon DLC's (can't complain about the skins, imo it's actually a pretty nice way to support the dev)
It's probably one of the stupidest reasons to like this teaser, but I like how it ties in with KF's lore
The man speaking is Kevin Clamely, the CEO, who has become the Patriarch
I've had 15 bucks sitting in my steam wallet from selling csgo crates.. I now know where that money will go to.
Might as well post the screenshots here.

That's a perfectly fine reason to like it.

I wouldn't mind them having more story elements in this game. Not a story mode or a campaign, but something like the Nazi Zombies in CoD: WAW/BO/BO2 where there's a lot of hidden story elements throughout the levels that give you even more insight as to what's going on.
FUCK YES.

Hope this is the new Patriarch theme.
That third screenshot makes it look slightly cellshaded.
Huh. Pronounced "Horree-zeen" instead of the word "Horizon". That's new to me
I always thought it was "hor-zine" like "carbine"

oooh that's a VERY nice art style
makes me think of a comic book -almost-, so they hit a great middleground of not looking over the top while not being GRIM GRIM GRIIIIIIIIM

So what's his status in the story? Hasn't he been killed on every map by now?

Fairly sure all the Specimins are clones, we've likely been killing Clones of his for the past few years.
Hoping for many british and cockney voices again!
I really like the new art style in those pictures and such. Alongside the new lighting "engine" they have, it ties it together nicely. I'm excited to just see the visuals.
I really hope they can get Harry Enfield for his Loadsamoney voice
I want wacky French voices this time.
Killing Floor always reminded me of a better version Tactical Ops: Assault on Terrors monster mod. Which is why I loved it ever since I bought it.
I'm not too well versed in KF's lore, but I have played it which begs the question: if horzine is a genetic modification company, how do you modify someone to make their arms chain guns? My guess is it's some sort of grafted on prosthetic, but there's questions then about ammo storage, material costs and so on. Still, I will admit it's pretty fucken metal. I'm looking forward to this.

carbine like car-bine or car-been though?

It's a game about dosh and ass kicking, I don't think anyone minds.

the characters in KF agrees with you
"He goes bloody invisible too?
Rockets, too? Now he's really taking the piss.
A machine gun for an arm? No effin' way!"

In case people don't know what's going on in this picture; they've set up the engine so that in Zed-Time moments the world is desaturated and blood is oversaturated so that stuff like that occurs.
I hope they don't go overboard with stylization.
