Apparently the guy was a 40 year old white male. No indications of his ethnicity but he could be a terrorist!
I was reading about this, and of course the Taliban claimed this attack, as they always do. From what I read, the Feds have found no link to any terrorist organization. But for all we know, the suspect(s) could have terror links. As for the bomb's structure, it appears to be a make shift incendiary device, that could have caused severe damage.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure they left the suv full of explosive and flammable gases in the middle of times square as a photo op.
