Question, how did half of you manage to go see it, it's an 18 movie and 80% of facepunch is under 16
Part of the 20%.
I'm going to watch it with my boyfriend. But that's because I think Sacha looks hot. =)
I went to see it today and found it fucking hilarious. Not to the same extent as Borat because it practically repeated some of the jokes in it, but it was still funny as hell, mainly because it's a lot more awkward and even more offensive. Just buy a ticket to another movie but walk in to Bruno. The guys at the cinema I went to didn't even ask for ID, and the guys after that just assume that we've been checked, I guess
I thought the movie was funny, but it's not something I'd go see again. It was way too over the top.
I thought the movie was funny, but it's not something I'd go see again. It was way too over the top.
So Much Dick
Question, how did half of you manage to go see it, it's an 18 movie and 80% of facepunch is under 16
Only in Britain. In ROI it's 16's, and you Brits are getting a 15's version soon (heavily cut I might add) The film was pretty fun, no Borat, but I liked the whole flamboyancy of it all. Also ITT Americans rage that they saw penis on a screen.
Also ITT Americans rage that they saw penis on a screen.
more like ITT: 13 year old boys explore the male body in complete disgust and homophobia.
THis is how i should have made my thread...fuck...
What, double spaced? Damn that's annoying. [editline]10:48PM[/editline]
more like ITT: 13 year old boys explore the male body in complete disgust and homophobia.
Same thing really.
I thought it was Hilarious. Nothing offends me.
more like ITT: 13 year old boys explore the male body in complete disgust and homophobia.
Saw this with my 15 year old brother, who despite claiming to be an utter gay hater, thoroughly enjoyed the movies. The amount of pussy whining from the Yanks about this one is unreal. Between this and Watchmen, you'd think they'd all NEVER SEEN A FUCKING PENIS. HERE IT IS. Nearly 50 percent of the world has one. Grow the fuck up.
Same thing really.
You got me there. :patriot:
I find it completely hilarious that in America the MPDoubleGay allowed this to be released in its current state and then demanded Ang Lee cut Lust,Caution. Apparently penetration is too extreme for Americans  [editline]10:55PM[/editline]
It has nude dicks, how can it be lower?
Surely you're joking ? Unlike America, Britain and Irish film classifiers don't consider parts of the human anatomy more offensive than, oh, say, people getting tortured, a la Saw.
I don't see how it offended America though, I'm a 19 year old heterosexual American who enjoyed the movie and wasn't offended at all. :clint:
I don't see how it offended America though, I'm a 19 year old heterosexual American who enjoyed the movie and wasn't offended at all. :clint:
I'm guessing you're not from some hick town then ?
Where I live there is no 18 limit, 15 is the highest.
the movie is rated 21 here because there homosexuals.
I'm only 17 but I'm still going to see it. If they won't let me in I'll just kick up a shitstorm about my sexuality.
You can go see the censored version that'll be coming out if they don't let you in. :mmmhmm:
the movie is rated 21 here because there homosexuals.
Haha that is so ignorant
It's 16 here.
Haha that is so ignorant
I was joking.
oh ok, it would happen some places though
it's 16 here.
roi ?
I thought Bruno was fucking hilarious. The only scene that really made me question it was the whole quasi-meatspin, but the rest of the movie made up for that. I liked it better than Borat.
I saw it lastnight and I was surprised. I actually PREFER Bruno over Borat. I felt that Borat was too much of a gimmick (yeah.. i know) and felt too fake. Plus Borat was draw out as dry as it could get with quotes and references from all my friends so I'm pretty sick of Borat + It's just annoying really. :\ Bruno actually felt a little more real-life, legit even though it was seriously OTT. Bruno > Borat, IMO IMO IMO IMO.
Saw the ad some days ago, it looked horrible and fucking gay. Like really gay.
Its a gay movie. What were you thinking? 2 coke cans having sex?
It's 16 here.
It's 15+ here, totally uncensored too.
If there's too much gay porn than I'll rate this bad because movies shouldn't contain sex scenes unless its with a man and a woman and the woman is hot.
Talk about being insecure about your sexuality. I think it's gonna be a great movie, I enjoyed everything Sacha Baron Cohen has made so far, so this should be no exception.
In the german version he keeps saying "Hyper krass" and "Krass" if he thinks something is cool, like talking with the models. I wonder what he says in the english version :/
I thought it was fucking hilarious. A lot of my friends and people from school thought it was horrible, so I agree with the fact that a lot of Americans can't deal with seeing dick on the screen... they need to grow up.
