Keep in mind I started not too long ago probably a week or two ago I just haven't been using tutorials cause I cant find any good ones if you know of any good sites it would really help.
Oh yeah a few tuts for texturing would be nice.
Anyone tried the Rebusfarm render farm they give you a free renderpoint so I was considering using just for the free point.

Need to work on the windmirrors. I havn't modeled in a long time so I thought I should go back and get better at it.
Made a shader, exported as .fx, it shows up fine in viewport, but vray doesn't render it for some reasons.
Downloaded Zbrush trial to give it a try
saved my progress , and loaded back again now I can't select my model

What do you mean you can't select your model? You can't sculpt on it anymore? If that's the case, try hitting 't' or clicking on the 'Edit' button next to draw, move and all that over the top of the document window.

Well the edit button is disabled, the only thing I can use is the draw tool now =(
I can draw a new mesh and edit it without a single problem but I just can't select the existing one, since the only tool I can use is "draw"

Well, sometimes the answer is to just tap every single key on your keyboard until shit solves itself, have worked a lot of times for me.
Super important question I need answered quickly. I am making an HDRI scene that is pretty standard, but I need it to have caustics, that come in from all directions, not just just from one point. Is there a way of doing it besides having a ton of caustic castings lights all over the place?

You saved the document, not the tool.
It's kind of fucked up, but you have to make sure you save the tool if you want to come back to it later. Saving the document is essentially just taking a screenshot of the canvas.

It's just a portfolio piece that I might animate or fiddle with it in the Cryengine that I should look into.

There's actually a message in this piece, as I laid in bed a few days ago thinking about the impossibility of a real utopia, so I decided to make this.

I thought the bright sky, the rooftop, and the beautiful chrome railing would represent the perfectness of a utopia, and then the gun would represent the non-existence of such a civilization. Nah, I don't know, I thought it sounded good when I thought it up in my head.

Gun looks bad IMO. Make it less reflective.
I have now made the gun less reflective. Better or worse?
The chrome is too perfect and the gun too shiny. I suppose the chrome railing goes inside the concrete since there's no visble way of fastening it.
And I'm not sure if it actually is supposed to be like that but the grooves on the concrete are going different ways on the side and on the top. It could also use some more contrast and an actual texture for the gun.

Working on a network tag commercial for an online channel that streams all 90's movies called Poopdick. You guys might be familiar with it. Anyways here are some screencaps from it, where I have it exploding in reverse and coming back together:

For the 5 second tag, it's taking 4 hours to render. Oh the joy.
Really bright and too blue for my taste. Also, rails are too perfectly shiny as are bullets and the gun.
