Yes I've noticed that, but you started with the kids of 12 years old, really annoys me :(
When you get older you'll learn to ignore "shit" like that. They are just words on the Internet, simply stop caring. Although I agree with what edja007 said.
@Nvidia Excuse me, didn't see that button. @mikhga 4 years on the internet now, I know a lot of kids are being stupid here, yes I do, oh and I usually ignore them.
LOL
So uh... how did you do that?
Rayfire I guess
Rayfire I guess
No, with fracture voronoi. It's a free script that can fragment objects, i love it. http://www.scriptspot.com/3ds-max/fracture-voronoi

How did you make it fall apart after you fragmented it?
How did you make it fall apart after you fragmented it?
Reactor physics?
Reactor physics?
PhysX is easier to use in my opinion. But then again, not everyone even has this option.
I assume I can use PhysX with my 9800 GTX+ right?
I don't think the graphics card has anything too do with the physics in 3dsMax, though I could be wrong.
PhysX is easier to use in my opinion. But then again, not everyone even has this option.
Can you even use it without rayfire?
I don't think the graphics card has anything too do with the physics in 3dsMax, though I could be wrong.
Well PhysX can (at least for games) be run on Nvidia graphics cards. [editline]08:34PM[/editline] http://developer.nvidia.com/object/physx_dcc_plugins.html [editline]08:35PM[/editline] It's the physX plugin for 3ds Max and Maya
Skilless brush dragging isn't funny, unless you're 12 or something. Even if you're 12 and can model, you won't find this funny. It is like drawing a cock and showing it to real artists. I doubt they will laugh at your 5sec shit. So improve or don't post
This is Toxic's friend, we'll call me "Bart". So listen, man, you took this post a little too seriously. If you didnt find it funny, just ignore it, what's the point of insulting me? I was just goofing around with a program I had never used before. So chill, laugh it off or move on, don't jump in and put me down, its juvenile.

Reactor sucks. Wait... I searched for this problem and the answer is that they don't have a 64 bit version... And it's coming "soon"
Yeah you need to install the 32-bit version. It works fine on 64-bit systems I have both installed. You really only need the 64-bit version if you are going to use more than 4GB of RAM in MAX alone. [editline]01:32AM[/editline] PhysX Plugin + Fragment Script [editline]01:34AM[/editline] Rayfire Both are part of one hundred frame image sequences.
Can you even use it without rayfire?
Actually yes, in the simulation menu, it lets you choose between the traditional reactor physics and PhysX.
Can I install both x32 and x64 versions of max on the same pc?
God damn, when I make scene with 2 boxes, physx works fine. When I make scene and use that script to break object, physx doesn't seem to do anything. Wtf automerge? Woo fixed my physx. For some reasons sdk wasn't the latest version... Can anyone post any good reference pics for a male character? Preferred nude but with underpants. Blueprints website doesn't have any good character prints sadly
a little project in progress for a beachfront condo. I personally can't stand the "limed cypress" the architect wanted on the ceiling and the cabinetry, but eh, what can I do about it. ...ignore the horrifyingly bad tiling on the floor. the guy also demanded we used the sample he provided. I'll probably re-do stuff on the project once it's finished up, just for the sake of the gallery.
Cool looking, wire please?
took me a few minutes, was working on another project and apparently 3dsmax hates running 2 instances of large projects at the same time :v: not very impressive model-wise, most of my work is in the rendering methods.
Since there are stair in another room, why is render so bright you can't see them?
at the time of the render, it was just the current house in the scene. I have since merged it with the two "guest-houses" and garage... and the landscape. So, basically, the render is floating in space, but I liked the wash-out, it was more like the photos sent to us as references, and the architect liked it, thought it was more real. Though, isn't it always eye-blastingly bright in the Florida keys? :v:
God damn, when I make scene with 2 boxes, physx works fine. When I make scene and use that script to break object, physx doesn't seem to do anything.
You need to break the object then add the pieces to the physics scene.
You need to break the object then add the pieces to the physics scene.
I know, I did that. I fixed it by changing physx sdk version
Damn, the PhysX stuff only works on 3ds max versions prior to 3ds max 2010, they are working on a new one but no ETA yet :(

The colours are too cold as well. And turn the plank ceiling texture over the left door 90 degrees.
