Could somebody please help me with a quick problem in ZBrush. When I load a saved document in ZBrush, I can't seem to start edit my model. I don't know why, this is getting me crazy. Help would be appreciated.
"Save tool" not "Save as" :eng101:
"Save tool" not "Save as" :eng101:
So you can't do anything with a saved document? Or what?
So you can't do anything with a saved document? Or what?
I am having a deja-vu
So you can't do anything with a saved document? Or what?
Not with the tools inside, no. It's a bitch, but that's how it is.
Not with the tools inside, no. It's a bitch, but that's how it is.
Ok, thanks. Just spent three hours of modeling on something I can't use now, that hurts. But thanks anyways.

Well since there is quite a few mentions of blender on this page: Some tutorials. They are half decent and start out with the utter basics of blender.
I need help trying to render an animation in XSI (mod tool)! I've no idea how to do it.
I need help trying to render an animation in XSI (mod tool)! I've no idea how to do it.
I think it doesn't render, does it? Hence the mod tool.
Here's some stuff I made a long time ago:
I think it doesn't render, does it? Hence the mod tool.
You can render stuff in mod tool (Badly , nowhere near as good as 3DSmax) So I don't see why you can't render animations...

Working on a pig character.
Nose is a little to small and the face looks kind of flat. Otherwise awesome.
Yeah the face is too flat in around the eyes.
Sorry Ajacks... I've completely ripped your style now :( I modelled the TV. This was my first test at doing some proper lighting. It's a low quality render so excuse the grain.
I sort of like the grain in the picture, bugs me sometimes when something looks too blatantly a render.

In other words: Keep the grain.
Thanks guys. Oh, uh, when I'm setting up my "mr Physical Sky Parameters" in the materials editor, for the multiplier i need to set it to 0.0001, but the smallest I can go in 0.001. I want to darken the sky for night time.

Damn Ajacks, looks neat as hell!

Sort of replicated my Ikea closet
Whenever I'm doing skies I do a daylight system and set it to night if need be.
When you set it to night, do you just set it so the time is late. Because i've tried that, but my sky is still white, even though there is less light.
Ok, i have this problem that has been drivin me insane for quite a while now, you see, when applying a texture in max it doesn't really apply right, let me try and explain What im trying to do, in this little demo, for example, is apply an image, which is 1440x900 to a plane which is also 1440x900 (Fig.1 shows you the size of the plane i am applying it to). So i have set the scale of the texture to be 1:1 (as seen in Fig.2) And as you can see, (behind Fig.3) the texture is repeating hundereds of times, leading me to assume, that: a. the shape specs are not 1 to 1 in terms of w.e max shapes are calculated in and pixels b. there is a setting somewhere that is doing somthing crazy with texture co-ords c. shiz is all messed up yo. Its not just for when applying an image to a plane, using somthing like a v-ray material or any bitmap texture it screws up and ruins everything :frown: So, any help on this problem would be GREATLY appreciated, Thanks
Real world map scale! I bet you're using that design bullshit also, you can turn real world map scale off from the preferences. Anyways, I'm experimenting with some bubbles inside a glass volume.

Thanks though . And yes, i am using design, have not noticed the difference between this and and the normal one, apart from that annoying world scale crap Also, glass with bubbles looks amazing, how did you pull off the whole bubble thing?

Then i used particles to spawn some spheres inside the torus.
