Question time. Ok, so I want to cut the brown spline at the point where it intersects with the circle. How would I go about doing this? Could I use boolean, or does that only work on 3D shapes?
You have to use the boolean tool that's under an editable spline. Go into editable spline mode, add the circle, and then use the boolean that's under the editable spline modifier to cut.

Alright, this may sound stupid, but is there a way I can bake physics and render the results? Like a ball rolling down a set of stairs.
Give a sphere physics, make some stairs, drop it down the stairs and render it all.
Not quite it, I use Blender. I took the time to Google and saw that I had to bake the physics to IPO curve editor for use in renders. But thanks
Does anyone here use Silo for 3d modelling? I'm thinking of using it to create models for personal projects, no renders or anything, just 3D meshes.
I found some of my really old models. Note that they are modeled without reference imagery. They are by hand. Forgive me, but I didn't take time to texture the pistol with bumpmaps, speculars, material properties or more. Age isn't an excuse, goddamn.
Actually it means that the person lacks experience in creation, just as us 09'ers lack Facepunch experience.
No, it does not. I could have started modelling at 11, and then by 13 I would have two years of experience/ Should my models still be shitty?
No, it does not. I could have started modelling at 11, and then by 13 I would have two years of experience/ Should my models still be shitty?
Stop being a prick.
No, it does not. I could have started modelling at 11, and then by 13 I would have two years of experience/ Should my models still be shitty?
Lets start modeling from birth, then you will be pro at five :downs:

It doesn't matter how old you are, it matters how much experience you have. I'm 16 and I'm worse than all of you.
It doesn't matter how old you are, it matters how much experience you have. I'm 16 and I'm worse than all of you.
Good point. I'm 16, 17 soon and I have 3 years of experience. I'm not too good, but I know how to model.
Lets start modeling from birth, then you will be pro at five :downs:
To be honest, you wouldn't be pro but I bet you could use the program. I know kids that are 2 years old and can start a computer and click a game's icon on the desktop to run it.
But can they play it?
They can later, and trust me, they will become pro's
But can they play it?
I know I could.
Decided to create a tutorial on how to make the meteor [hd]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bfvM64mlB_k&feature=player_embedded[/hd] How can I make it HD tagged?
:v: Edit: Funnies? It was a serious question!
Weren't you the SAME person who asked an almost exact question a few weeks ago and I went as far as making a video tutorial for you? [hd]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uF3R0uNlk-s[/hd] [editline]04:29PM[/editline] Also I need to get 3ds 2010 working on my machine, but it refuses to open. It crashes while starting. Help? Running Vista Home Premium x64
Also I need to get 3ds 2010 working on my machine, but it refuses to open. It crashes while starting. Help? Running Vista Home Premium x64
:ohdear: Great. Now you've got me scared. I just barely bought 2010 today.
:ohdear: Great. Now you've got me scared. I just barely bought 2010 today.
I still prefer max 2009 over 2010.
Any ideas on how to get it working? Also I love 2010 :3:
But can they play it?
Yeah, he knows it as "the fish game" and could spend hours on it.

What I do is I normally talk, add subtitles on the bottom and have a slight calming music in the background.
