What are you all studying? Anyone doing psychology / sociology I hear its the next sector to get jobs in.
Wait for real? I'm majoring in sociology but I've been taking all the pre-reqs for pre-dental/pre-med on the side so I haven't had much time to look into jobs in my major.
i'm a philosophy and sociology double major, might go into the pre-law track, but i'd just like to go onto grad school
Anyone else considering UW Madison? I got accepted there, and I really want to go there! The only problem might be the cost :/
I'm currently in Howard Community College!
You guys are gonna love university :), experience of a lifetime
well its not the best engineering school, and considering i also got into u of illinois it might have sounded a little odd that I also was considering umass but its because I did well on all of the high school sections of the MCAS and I'm a massachusetts resident tuition is fairly low at umass anyway, the room and board is what gets you
i dont live in mass so tuition out of state sucks. im trying to transfer out of my current college, applied to umass amherst just cause. luckily my sister has a place off campus that i could use since she won't be there next year. cheaper than living on campus also ive never heard anything about uill so dunno how it stacks up against other schools
I got accepted to Marietta College! ...three years ago.
I just received an acceptance letter from a pretty good college today. I'm excited. Still haven't heard back from my 1st and 2nd choices yet, but at least I know I have a good school I can attend next year.
Currently in University of Colorado - Boulder, second semester here, majoring in Physics. Decided to go here because they've got a decent Physics program and they offered scholarship, it's pretty nice here but still fucking expensive because I'm out of state.
I plan on going to SFSU for the BECA program.
Anyone else considering UW Madison? I got accepted there, and I really want to go there! The only problem might be the cost :/
I'm currently attending there and I highly recommend it. Its a great school.
I'm attending Purdue University, pursuing a bachelor's in microbiology with a minor in philosophy. It's about $21k a year, but the education, prestige of the degree, and the experience is second to none. Also Purdue is a public university.
Got an offer from Lancaster U to study Physics with a year in the US
Got an offer from Lancaster U to study Physics with a year in the US
That sounds awesome. One of the things I currently regret about my college experience is not being able to go overseas to another country.
I go to Ohio University, #1 Party school wooooo! but really I'm here for production, they are good at that.
I go to Ohio University, #1 Party school wooooo! but really I'm here for production, they are good at that.
Is that the one in Athens or Columbus? I always mix up OSU and OU
;35015476']Attending Eastern Michigan. Not my first choice- first choice is U of Michigan, but I missed the deadline to apply to them when I did. I rather like EMU, so I'm sticking to it, but I'll definitely be doing graduate at UofM if I choose to do so.
What are you looking to do?
I got accepted to the only school that I applied to, that being the University of Delaware. I also got a scholarship for like $2000 a year as long as I keep a 3.0 GPA
Endge Hill - Digital SFX Animations I don't know the difference between their Animation and Digital SFX Animation and I wonder if I have might picked the gay version
Taking a base year at the moment, next year I'm going to take Engineering Physics at KTH in Stockholm. Pretty much guaranteed to get in, seeing as the average mark for the base year students who got in is C, I've got an average of B+.
Wait for real? Good choice (or coincident) either way I wish you the best of luck although you shouldnt need it. A recent conversation with Professor Valverde suggested a look into getting a sociology major would allow you to pretty much with work experience of course let you apply to most positions within the business world. As she expects it to become another sort after specialty especially with its links to man management.
I was lucky enough to be accepted into the University of New Haven for Criminal Justice. Also I got into the University of Hartford, with a full scholarship.
Got accepted to UMKC. Applied there because it's close, not too expensive, and just a nice school. I'm visiting the campus again tomorrow. I don't know what I'm going to major in for sure but probably business admin - emphasis in finance.
Accepted to University of Tennessee Knoxville. I don't plan on doing a comp sci major or anything. Very interested in doing a Foreign Language major though.
Got accepted into here last July, went for induction in September and actually started mid-september. http://www.wortech.ac.uk/ Link in case anyone is sceptical of that other link
I've got offers for engineering at Warwick and Southampton, just have to choose now.
Panama City, Florida Campus? Or like, the country Panama? :v:
Panama, the country. Campus is beautiful, next to what used to be a small golf campus and it's right next to the panama canal locks, you can see the ships go by :v:
computer engineering [editline]6th March 2012[/editline] i live close and I get free tuition to umass
As a class of 2014 mechanical undergrad at the Amherst campus, UMass is fantastic and our engineering department usually ranks pretty high nationally (About the top 25%).
