I hate it when I notice singers pronouncing some words in a weird way, then I just end up focusing on them going PHFGPHPGFG when they say P or things like that.
When I listen to Teach Me How To Scream by Brokencyde (hate me all you want), I can't help but notice that it sounds like "Teach me how to scree" because it gets cut off.
or are you seriously not informed about the influence kanye west has had on hip-hop
[editline]5th June 2011[/editline]
plus since when is bass a special effect?
I mean the bass in like techno.
I was not joking. I don't think Kanye west had quite a positive effect. compared to the old days.

you weren't even alive during the old days
plus classic rock dying out is a good thing, not a bad thing. music would die if it didn't progress.
we'll have to eventual get rid of the power chord
The fact that The Rev gets mentioned whenever dead musicians get brought up even though Vitek was a far better drummer.
People that read your artist collection to assess your coolness.

FUCKING THIS. I am so sick of people saying The Rev deserves more respect and was a legend and yadayadayada. The fact is, he was good, but not great, nor did he push the boundries of music like Vitek did.
Really wish Vitek hadn't died.
who the fuck is "The Rev"
who the fuck is "The Rev"
If you're serious, he was the drummer for Avenged Sevenfold before he overdosed on drugs.

If you were sarcastic, ignore this post.

Popular band, never liked them myself. They're not terrible, just not that skilled to be honest.
who the fuck is "The Rev"
that's the second time i've seen you guys complain about an A7X member and then someone says "who the fuck???"

I am complaining that he gets more recognition than Vitek, when Vitek was a drummer of much better skill and technicality.

They probably didn't even know who Vitek is, so it's not really their fault...

This is a good point. Reminds me of how revered Joey Jordison of Slipknot was/is.
"man stop bitching about what genre it is just enjoy the music. genres are fucking dumb"

I honestly think that The Rev was much more talented than Joey Jordison. Joey played his cards of speed, The Rev actually was able to do more complex things with a groove.
Oh, and he's completely self-taught.

Well duhh, The Rev IS good, he's just not deserving of the fame he has.
Vitek had both speed AND groove. Listen to Day 69 from Organic Hallucinosis and you'll understand.
Pitbull's a cunt.
I don't anyone has ever woken up and thought "you know what, I really wish I could make music like that pitbull fella".
I have a pet peeve about bonus tracks on an album.
I'm a bit weird about it, but if I want "bonus" material, I'd get a disc dedicated for it. It ruins the original intent of the release unless it's seperated entirely from the album.
Sometimes it's okay, for example on Vinyl some artists include songs as a deluxe edition. Which I'm all for.. but I'm not crazy about it.
Maybe I'm way in over my head because I do love extra content to death. :smugdog:
Low quality samples in music.

Bonus tracks hidden in one of the original tracks are irritating. Other than that, I don't really care.

Hmm, I clicked agree but Death Grips uses samples really noisily with intent to be loud.

This, especially when the "real" album ends with a really mellow track and then some remix of the title track comes along and ruins the mood :saddowns:
Remixes.... WHY put them on there, they distance themselves really well away from the content.
I don't mind demos and stuff though, they're good to hear.

I kinda agree with you, the problem is it's incredibly difficult for a band on a major to get permission to release a double disc album, so I can only imagine a disc with even less content might be even more unpopular. Not sure how true all this rings, but it's food for thought at the very least
Hidden tracks that are on the last track but are five minutes after it finishes is annoying.
Whenever I rip music I always seperate the hidden track.
12 minutes of silence for a 12 second bonus track is SO ANNOYING
annoying as well if I burn a CD to listen to in the car and one of the tracks has a hidden track and I didn't realise, then when I'm driving the music stops and I wonder why.

And if it's in the background so you don't really listen, you won't notice that it's completely silent until you suddenly "wake up" and realize that you've been listening to nothing for 5 minutes. :v:
