I don't like bonus tracks that are just alternate takes or rehearsal takes or whatever of tracks already on the album.
It annoys me when covers of songs I've never heard the original of aren't specified as covers and I listen to them for ages before finding out they're covers.
Even more ridiculous that hidden tracks is if there are 5+ minutes of silence or white noise or whatever, but for no reason; there isn't anything hiding at the end of the track.
The last track on Buzzov*en's "At A Loss" record does this - the song itself is maybe 7 minutes long. Then there's half an hour of this droning white noise that lasts until the very end of the track, and there's nothing after it.
Why the hell even...?
Really loud high pitched sounds. Like the sound you'd probably get if you threw a microphone on the ground or something. These are usually at the beginning or ending of a song. It hurts my damn ears. I especially get annoyed by the very beginning of Kehlvin's "Albatross." But it was better than the typical high pitched ear rape.

Volume lower if music gets uncomfortable.

It's not even bad in Albatross
No such thing as earrape imo. :smugdog:
I forgot which album it was, but theres this one I've got that at the end, the band starts humming and doing vocal harmonies 12 minutes after the last song. Scared the shit out of me when I went to bed heard all these men humming.

Well unless it's somebody actually sticking their dick in your ear
I mean
You can't be serious if you don't consider that earrape
It's not rape if you enjoy it
no that's ear sex
like bjork for example sticks her soundwave dick in my ear

Yeah, it's not that bad, but it's very loud depending on the volume you have it at. I don't listen to it at a very high volume, but it still was pretty loud.
Black Veil Brides. Oh god I can't stand them. Every single person in the band is extremely pretentious and loves themselves to death.

I love how someone's had the sense to separate metal and "metal" (metalcore).

go back to the metal thread
I still don't know exactly what metal is.
I think it's like rock but with more bass.
Is My Chemical Romance metal? I think they're black metal.
They Doom Metal you faggot. Sum 41 is Black Metal :downs:
i hate when someone keeps removing and adding an LP thats on my want list they have for sale on discogs
some asshole is doing that with Moving Pictures. really annoying
I hate it when people associate rock music with Satanism.
A few years ago I got my friend into a few bands which he genuinely enjoyed.
A week later, his grandmother told him that rock is "the devil's music", and then he cut all contact with me. :colbert:
I like all small bands honestly. Screw big bands. ((besides most rock bands, you know such as Disturbed and or Shinedown))

Whether or not they're small or big seems completely irrelevant.

i don't think it really has an impact on the music

Well im not talking for the general public, its just what i like. People can have their own opinions you know. Not to sound mad but its just what i think. Yuh know what i mean?
But as an example: Lately Metallica hasnt been doing to well, but back when they first started that was their glory days, and i miss those.
