As in popularity. But i have some acceptions most of the time but i like bands when their less popular and more in the shadows, such as the underdogs you can say.
Does that mean you like this? :suicide:
Does that mean you like this? :suicide:
I love the dancing. Not the singing... JK
Well im not talking for the general public, its just what i like. People can have their own opinions you know. Not to sound mad but its just what i think. Yuh know what i mean? But as an example: Lately Metallica hasnt been doing to well, but back when they first started that was their glory days, and i miss those.
So are you saying that the bands you like usually happen to be minor, or that you like bands more because they're minor? Because if it's the latter then I agree with Lazor.

And fucking GLORY DAYS. This is a pet peeve of mine. Glory days don't mean shit, people could think that Metallica's glory days are just starting, or they could think it was when they released Ride The Lightning.
I forgot which album it was, but theres this one I've got that at the end, the band starts humming and doing vocal harmonies 12 minutes after the last song. Scared the shit out of me when I went to bed heard all these men humming.
After a few seconds at the end of Ocean Machine by Devin Townsend. Fucking "Thing Beyond Things". I had actually fallen asleep when the ending came on :ohdear: [editline]7th June 2011[/editline]
As in popularity. But i have some acceptions most of the time but i like bands when their less popular and more in the shadows, such as the underdogs you can say.
You are what people call a hipster.
I do like what people "aren't" listening to, but it doesn't make it better it just makes a little more... Yeah I have no idea.
[del]Peeve: People who rain hate and insults on music and/or musicians because the genre or piece in question is what they define as "old".[/del] Damn I have seen this way too many times. Edit:
I really hate people who think a band or a song sucks just because it's "old". :argh:
Oh. I sort of expected this peeve to be widespread but now I feel idiotic considering you said that only 2 days ago. :smith:
You are what people call a hipster.
No he's not, he listens to fucking Shinedown. Hipsters would crucify him.
when that one, ONE FUCKING ALBUM doesnt have artwork on iTunes
when that one, ONE FUCKING ALBUM doesnt have artwork on iTunes
Which is when you just google the artwork and save it on your computer and then upload it anyways? :raise:
You reach the point sometimes where you don't notice it until half a week later
I really hate people who think a band or a song sucks just because it's "old". :argh:
Or good because it's old. Just as bad.
Which is when you just google the artwork and save it on your computer and then upload it anyways? :raise:
You don't have to save it on your computer for iTunes. Just copy and paste it from online into the little square thingy.
Which is when you just google the artwork and save it on your computer and then upload it anyways? :raise:
I can just copy the image from the internet and paste it in the album art box on iTunes. [editline]8th June 2011[/editline] Fuck what the fuck how did I not notice that last post?
I do like what people "aren't" listening to, but it doesn't make it better it just makes a little more... Yeah I have no idea.
The big audience mostly listens to polished music. If you want something more raw you look in the underground

When my friends can't keep their fucking hands of the volume, iPod, CD player etc.
The big audience mostly listens to polished music. If you want something more raw you look in the underground
True. But I don't think it's sound will always be as raw as it can be due to technology boosts. Even obscure indie sounds really nice, production wise. And when I mean obscure, I mean not even the big guys have heard it.
I for one hate it when I hear the phrase "turn me on". I started noticing this some time ago, it's used all the time. Almost always used in the ambiguous context of electronics. "Plug it in and turn me on" xd it could mean both arousal and turning on a device xd!!! Or when the producers run out of lyrics budget with 2 syllables left in the sentence and just go ".... TODAY" So yeah, over-used lyrical conventions really annoy me.

My brother calls it Generock
Sometimes it's acceptable but I get where you are coming from. It's mainstream, generic rock you're talking about correct?
Yes. I used to be able to recall a list of songs I heard recently that feature 'turn me on' in the lyrics and/or the song title, but I forgot most of them. For fecal matter and entertainment, try googling 'turn me on' and look at the amount of music videos.

I've also noticed that a lot of rappers fill up syllables in a song with "uh", like a half-grunt. It's not a pet-peeve, I don't really mind it, but I've noticed it's regularity
Yeah, it doesn't have to be a pet peeve when you are not required to listen to it.
Oh but I am. A very obnoxious radio station is being played non-stop at my internship. I usually bring headphones so as to avoid it, but you know.
A very obnoxious radio station is being played non-stop at my internship.
That is just something a man has to go through. You can do it. :smug:
That is just something a man has to go through. You can do it. :smug:
I sure can. My internship is almost over and I've never complained about it before. People that judge your intelligence just because of your music opinions.
