Steve Wilson uses Logic and still gets great sound and quality of sounds
Digital is as capable of getting a fantastic sound as analog is but people just get lazy using digital imo.
Well maybe not all programs but you can get some good sounds using stuff like Pro Tools and Logic if you know how to use it to absolute precision

And: People who say KoRn is a generic emo band because of the singers (Jonathan Davis) background and it's influence in the songs. "Oh god, he should kill himself if he feel so bad about his youth" is a very common thing people say after I explain a certain song by them (Daddy, that is).
When the last track of an album (or any song for that matter) has more than 5 seconds of silence at the end. It just annoys me. It doesn't make me think any less of the artist (sometimes it's necessary, Karnivool's Deadman transition into Change takes 2 minutes) but when it doesn't happen I love it (like Porcupine Tree's Arriving Somewhere But Not Here, it's 12 minutes of intensity, but when it's over, it's over. No bullshit).

However Parklife is better than anything Oasis made.
There are two different ways I appreciate a song- I can appreciate the effort put into it, or I can appreciate the way it sounds to me (ie, the actual feel of the song). If both of these are great, then I'll love the song, but if there's only the latter it's alright, and if only the former then I probably won't like it. If none, then I almost certainly will dislike it to the point of changing the radio station after hearing it twice, three times.
