uhh at what point have i ever said i dislike dreamworks because i wanted to be cool? thats a really pants on head retarded thing to say. i dislike dreamworks AND this movie because of how they like to extremely milk things, their plot they come up with are extremely generic, their CGI quality isnt anything to write home about, the movie itself doesnt look all that special to me, and, as i have already said, the quality of this movie from what ive seen (trailers and such) seems to me like it doesnt differ from any other dreamworks films
and are you fucking kidding me, just because i dont like the plot of a movie/am generally not interested in a movie, i need to 'grow up a bit?'
i think youre the one that needs to grow up a bit here if you seriously think that
Loads of people here on Facepunch and beyond have all said that HTTYD differs greatly from Dreamworks' usual quality. And you did not just say "Well its Dreamsworks so I'm not interested", you had to wade into the thick of people praising it and make a retarded and baseless assumption without actually seeing the movie yourself.
Its ok to not like things, but what you said was just plain stupid and juvenile.
Is tap the shit out of that lady Viking.
No way, it's in 3D?
And for those wondering about the other characters, there is concept art and pictures/renders of them floating around the internet.
Going to watch the TV series, I heard it's decent?

It's nowhere near as good as the movie but it's not by all means terrible. I found it ok as it expands on the story (like showing some of the other dragons)
i want to bare toothless babies

but dragons are already bare

and babies are already toothless
Dreamworks needs to learn to move on creatively. I mean this sequel seems a bit more justified than most, but they make an assload of sequels for god damn everything. Why are there 4 ice ages? Why are there 4 shreks? 3 Madagascars? It just kind of cheapens it when there's a bajillion sequels to a movie that doesn't even need one.

I agree, but I think this is the first sequel they've planned which people actually want.

1. Ice Age is owned by Blu Sky Studios, not Dreamworks
2. Madagascar movies are actually getting better and better, but I hope they stop on the third one.
3. Dreamworks movies, even when they are sequels, are actually very creative and I can't think of any Dreamworks movies that don't add anything new to the table (except Shrek sequels)
4. I agree on the Shrek franchise tho, it should end on the second movie, but I guess it's Dreamworks' biggest milkcow.
