Today's the day, fellas. Who's betting for a cliffhanger of the century?
Goddamn. Good episode, can't wait till next week. [sp]fucking 6 months jesus christ how horrible for house [/sp]
Well I was hedging my bets on [sp]suicide[/sp] and the final few minutes pretty much solidify that as the ending. The episode was pretty much about [sp]Wilson needing to be there for House, because without Wilson, House has no one. But if House is looking at prison for six months, he not only will miss Wilson's final months, his death, and his funeral, but he will have no one waiting for him when he gets out of prison. I think he will choose death over going back.[/sp]
Totally just cried at the end of that episode.
This whole episode
Watching the episode. [sp]I made a loud "hooray" when thirteen appeared.[/sp] [editline]15th May 2012[/editline] [sp]"I need you to tell me that you love me". All the shippers in the world are cheering in joy.[/sp] :v: [editline]15th May 2012[/editline] [sp]Oh god I'm crying. Poor House. D:[/sp] [editline]15th May 2012[/editline] Apparently the finale is 2 hours long: (spoilers, it's a teaser) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cpaMMifRvOI
I think I shed a couple of tears on this episode. At least this is an interesting way to end the series.
[sp]I was hoping for some crazy ending where House and Wilson go off on holiday or something so Wilson can die in peace somewhere nice and House can be there with him and he doesn't have to go back to jail. I guess after seeing that teaser we can all have a good guess at how it ends now. :([/sp]
Yeah, I thought [sp]That house was going to take the time he had, and run away from his jail time, likely taking Wilson with him.[/sp]
Yeah, I thought [sp]That house was going to take the time he had, and run away from his jail time, likely taking Wilson with him.[/sp]
[sp]I think we all knew that House wasn't going to have a happy ending no matter how much we might have wanted it. The teaser for the finale doesn't look good in that respect, but a dark and depressing ending is probably the most fitting ending for the show.[/sp] [sp]In the finale teaser we see a clip where House and someone (I think it's Cameron) are lying around some rubble, and House grabbing someone's hand when he's on the floor in another scene. The fact that Chase, Cameron, Masters, Thirteen and Kutner are in the finale suggests that there's a funeral and/or someone has a crazy hallucination. That's my guess anyway.[/sp] [editline]15th May 2012[/editline] [sp]Also Foreman and Wilson are looking at something and start running. There might be some kind of small twist but I think we all know what's coming.[/sp]
[sp]NONONONNONONONONONONONONONONONONONONONONONONOONONONONONONONONONONONONONO That's just not fair.[/sp]
What if the title of the finale "Everybody Dies" is literal, and House decides to go out with a bang and takes all of the hospital with him!? :v:
Apparently the finale is 2 hours long: (spoilers, it's a teaser) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cpaMMifRvOI
[sp]0:25 a floor gives way. Lot of shit going on.[/sp]
[sp]0:25 a floor gives way. Lot of shit going on.[/sp]
As someone speculated before, [sp]House could be seeing some real hallucinations, which means the "fall through floor" could be symbolic for something. AKA he's stoned and it's not actually happening. Or something.[/sp]
[sp] I love House when he's angry. [/sp]
I haven't shed a single tear at any of these episodes, finales of a show always get me though so I'm betting I will on next week's episode. That 70s Show finale had me shed a tear or two, it was pretty sad.
4 years ago I started watching this show.....I was hooked on this show for 4 damn years. This is the only series I watched till the end(which will be next week god damn it....).I just can't believe that it will end..damn this is depressing

TV shows just seem to get to me, mainly because I invest so much time into watching them and watching the characters develop it's heartbreaking when you know it's coming to an end.
I'm taking my pre-med in college, and I wouldn't have gotten interested in medicine if it weren't for House. I'll have to find another source of inspiration after this ends...

But I'd love to be mistaken and have the finale last two hours, the show deserves to go out with a bang
I will never look at Hugh Laurie and not think of House, he really is the perfect actor for a unique character like Gregory House
Gone through Scrubs? Avoid season 9 LIKE THE PLAGUE however.
I honestly don't get why people dislike Season 9 so badly. Sure it's nowhere near as good as the previous but I still found it enjoyable... Also why do all the good shows end at Season 8? First scrubs now House?
perfect actor for a unique character like Gregory House
Perfect actor yes. But House isn't unique, it's a modern portrayal of Sherlock Holmes. Down the the careless drug addiction. Wilson is Watson. House's address is 221B.
I'm sure they didn't intentionally try to make him a modern day Sherlock Holmes. The address is most obviously a joke.
I'm sure they didn't intentionally try to make him a modern day Sherlock Holmes. The address is most obviously a joke.
David Shore, the guy who created House, has said a couple of times that House is a subtle homage to Sherlock Holmes. If you look at their various characteristics, House is basically Sherlock Holmes with an extra spoonful of narcissism and misanthropy and a medical degree. With regards to the looming finale, I get the feeling that everything might not be as depressing as the title "Everybody Dies" might imply. It's an obvious reference to the pilot episode title and House's unofficial catchphrase "Everybody Lies" and having everyone die in an episode called "Everyone Dies" seems too obvious for House.
Also House as a name is a reference to Holmes which sounds like Homes. [editline]17th May 2012[/editline] I was always hoping a rival diagnostition would be introduced similar to Moriarty. But played by Stephen Fry. Having Fry and Laurie on screen together is always great fun.

The season 2 finale [sp]where House got shot[/sp], I think the guy who does the [sp]shooting[/sp] is credited as Moriarty if memory serves. (Long time ago but spoiler tagged anyway). But Stephen Fry would be so awesome, although I don't think many Americans would appreciate it as much. Soupy Twist!
