Okay I keep getting asked if there is something other people can do, and right now no, we are focusing on a test review, once it goes live or I talk to Gane about the idea I have, I will be introducing a way for people to get active. [editline]3rd September 2014[/editline] Okay, I decided to go with it anyway, basically we are doing Groups, right now there is 3, Metal Gear Rising, Killing Floor and Max Payne 3, AKA: The top 3 picks for a test review. There should be more in the future but these are test reviews, and since having 3 test reviews is better than 1, that is why I did it. So to make sure people from the other review don't jump onto the new reviews, they aren't allowed to, it is a rule. I'd do a review of Max Payne 3, looking back I've totally completed the game, I can't believe I've got 85 hours logged for what it is. But doing a review sounds great, i'm game

2 Writer positions have been taken by Firefox and Pen, 3 spots are left, but we need 1 Editor and Lead Writer, if we don't have that then I might have to ditch the KF review, or figure something out. Oh BTW, Editors and lead writers can't make their own review...sorry.

Why would three people be working on a single review

The one we are going with for now since Tumblr can't handle it, is just compiling all of the reviews into one. So it would be like this. Writer: (Name) Game: (Game) I like this game is so on (Example). Writer: (Name) Game: (Game) This game is okay and so on. And so on till there is 5, or at least 2. Eventually once we know our writers well be able to put disparate writers together to get the most wide set of opinions on any one game at a time. Hopefully the readers like having contrast of various view points and thoughts.

Right we have two Writers for KF and Max Payne 3, We need one editor and lead writer for both so it can be a go, but if you want in on either KF or MP3, there is 3 slots left.

This way a person who is considering buying a game gets the best idea of if a game is right for them because the combined reviews cover every angle. It also works (makes sense and is probably required) because of the objective writing style we want to perpetrate in which writers do not make any presumptions or final judgements (buy this game/don't buy this game), they just analyse the facts and their own experience with the gameplay so that the reader can make their own decision. I don't think (it hasn't been mentioned here) that the objective writing style is being enforced with the test pieces though. At the moment we're just trying to get as many people as we can involved.

I'd also take a crack at MP3 if it's possible.

Meant to look into this earlier. Very promising idea and I'd love to help out.

We have 4 writers for MP3, one more writer slot is left. Then there is Lead Writer and Editor, if we don't get the last two it won't be happening.

What does the editor do?
