It seems that people like his movies better when the actors are told to improvise and when its not based on a videogame.
I think this is pretty fucked up, actually
None. Shocking, I know.
Well, fuck. I wanted to see a CGI Ralph or Lizzie. Uwe Boll or not, a Rampage movie would kick ass.
Where did you guys see it? I don't know if it's in cinemas over here.
It was okay, not great but not bad either. The camera kept shaking a lot(!), but nevertheless, I'd give it 7/10.
Who are you and why are you telling me what to do with my time
I am Marvin Gaye :smug: and i am telling you this because you watched it purely because the director has made awful movies I will be watching it though
It looks like an interesting movie. I'll have to see it.
This movie is awesome. I liked the part where [sp]he shot those 10 hair dressers in a big pile[/sp] It also had some cool reservoir dogs style conversations. [editline]06:46PM[/editline]
i actually really liked this. i never thought i'd say i liked an uwe boll film. although i think it should have ended differently [sp]instead of disappearing he should have just stayed and used the money (small amounts obviously not to arouse suspicion) for everyday life[/sp]
That wouldnt have worked since [sp]Evan's dad was saying it was Bill who commited the murders right near the end of the movie.[/sp]
it's on my netflix instant queue so i can watch it right now :D
Huh, a Uwe Boll film and so far I haven't read a single negative comment about it. I might have to give it a shot.
I enjoyed it. Thanks! I was reading on the IMDB boards about this, and I found this:
Obviously, when you sit down to watch a movie called "Rampage" you are expecting a good bit of violence. Even when the rampage itself started, it wasn't beyond what you'd normally see in any random action shoot 'em up. But as the film progressed, especially the beauty parlor scene, it struck me how many more women than men were being blown away.. I couldn't help noticing it, women in the street, outside of shops, in shops. It became more and more disgusting. I finally had to ask myself: What were they doing out of the kitchen?
I had to chuckle at that.
Huh, a Uwe Boll film and so far I haven't read a single negative comment about it. I might have to give it a shot.
it is quite shit :smug: naa its possibly his only decent movie postal was funny but it was a terrible movie
Just saw it. I liked it for the most part, everything came together very well. My only problem with it was the horrible abuse of shaky-cam.
I just watched it as well, found it quite enjoyable. The shaky-cam was a bit overdone (which most people tend to agree on), but it's actually pretty well done. It holds up as a good movie next to other movies, it isn't just good for an Uwe Boll movie. The violence didn't bother me much, but certain parts made me think "Holy shit, he's killing a lot of people," and made me think of how easily someone could do the same exact thing in real life and have similar results.
This just seems like "Falling Down" but with 100% more action and explosions, which is actually kind of upsetting seeing as how "Falling Down" worked pretty well with-out action 24/7.
Biggest flaw was that it took a few minutes to long for the rampage to start
Is it just me or was there no black people in this movie? I mean, since it's in USA and all that's pretty unrealistic.
Sounds (and looks) really dumb, story-wise, before it looks like I'm jumping on the Uwe Boll hate bandwagon.
Just watched it. [sp] Holy shit, I didn`t expect him to get away with it [/sp]
it looks good, so I may give it a shot. my only concern is that I don't think I can sympathise with the main character. I have to understand why he started killing instead of having the 'he's a mental' card making an excuse.

i thought it was pretty stupid. where did a low-paid mechanic get the money for said ramapge?
An uwe boll film? he even fucked up the trailer
i thought it was pretty stupid. where did a low-paid mechanic get the money for said ramapge?
i guess he saved up so what
i thought it was pretty stupid. where did a low-paid mechanic get the money for said ramapge?
He got a cut of the budget for the movie.
Extremely disturbing movie if you ask me
i thought it was pretty stupid. where did a low-paid mechanic get the money for said ramapge?
Notice in the beginning how his parents are talking about how he should have been saving up money, which he lies about doing. Also, he asks them for more money, which means he's probably been asking them for money for a long time now. Explains why he's never had the cash to move out despite living at home and not having to pay any bills. Every dollar he's made (for the past few years, I assume) has gone to weapons and armor.
Looks interesting.
Uwe Boll.. making a good movie? WHAT IS THIS SORCERY!
Postal was honestly OK IMO..
Damn, where can I see this?
