i thought it was pretty stupid. where did a low-paid mechanic get the money for said ramapge?
Uwe gave him some of his Nazi Gold.
I just finished watching this. It was alright, but the camera was shakier than Cloverfield.
Damn, where can I see this?
I'm pretty sure it's on Netflix.
Just watched it on Netflix.
Suprisingly good. I love how everything he's done all went to[sp]him framing his friend.[/sp]
When I saw the title for this thread, this is what I thought of

I had a feeling that he had made a movie about this game, but it turns out that its a movie that's actually good

I like how his planning was so meticulous to the point of him [sp]having all of the stuff sent to his friend's house instead of his own.[/sp]

I'm kind of glad it's not what you thought it was.
The trailer tells us that a man goes on a rampage to kill people and end society.
All he is wearing is a thin plate armor and a helmet to stop the police from shooting his ass down, this movie can only suck ass.
it's on my netflix instant queue so i can watch it right now :D
thats what i did
Oh boo hoo, you could see equipment. Guess what, just about EVERY movie has at least one thing like that no matter how small. I guess with continuity errors deserve a one star rating too, right?
Dude, it's Uwe Boll, and in the trailer it's obvious... It's almost as bad as the long cable behind the taxi during the Chicken scene in Last Action Hero

If you knew what you were talking about, you'd know he bombs the police station first.
The only things that really bothered me about this film was that he's going on a rampage and has [sp]blown up the police station.
The rampage is being reported on on the radio through the entire thing and afterwards. Firstly people are still acting like nothing has happened even as it comes to an end and secondly the town seems to lack any sort of communication with the rest of the country as the only backup that arrives are two cars who were out when the station blew up.[/sp]
I think investigating loopholes in fiction is kind of a lost cause
The movie was just straight up disturbing. It will give quiet kids with evil thoughts orgasms. I didn't really like it, the idea of it, or the hair dresser scene.
So this is basically "Fuck Shit Up: The Game: The Movie"?
Renting immediately.

Considering his erratic and patternless movement throughout the town (drive to a spot, kill people, drive somewhere else, kill more people), the fact that the police station was destroyed (which is probably the hub for sending out distress signals to other counties), and the fact that he left few survivors in the places he shot up (which means reports of his location were few and far between), it makes perfect sense that there was little police resistance. He also had a police radio on him, so he could easily avoid the areas they were headed to.
You also have to keep in mind that it looks like a relatively small country town. They aren't going to have a lot of police resources like SWAT teams and helicopters.
As for people acting like nothing has happened, that's one of the things the movie is obviously pointing out. If a guy in full armor and weapons was seen walking down the street, there'd probably be more confusion than fear. The image would be so abstract and seemingly unreal to people, to the point where the brain doesn't really know how to react.

Well, he did modify it.
Just watched it on Netflix, and, wow, that was a great movie.
Now I have to see this, a good Uwe Boll movie that's a first.
This movie was pretty disturbing. I felt bad for the poor sheriff :sigh:
The guy looks a little like Pekka-Eric Auvinen, a finnish school shooter

I don't understand why school shootings occur so frequently in Finland
I'm alright with random violence, but killing people that haven't really been characterized at all just makes me a bit ill.
The hair parlor scene where the girl starts spouting shit while the guy's away for a couple seconds, or the guy at the coffee shop. Even the smallest justification is enough, but I can't help but think that some of the random pedestrians were good people.

Justification? I think you might want to rephrase that :D
Anyhow, I did think it was a little disturbing that he was just shooting random people, but I suppose it was effective.
[sp]The whole bingo scene I was in suspense, hoping that he would not kill them (I mean, they can't run, or do anything if he decided to unload). That scene just played out so well, since Bill believed he wouldn't be doing them any favors by killing them.[/sp]
I warey of all of your comments as I'm guessing most of you get errections over gunfire.
I haven't seen it but it looks like its just some controversial film for Uwe Boll to gain some publicity.
But hey! It could be amazing! I doubt it though.
Just watched it. It's not amazing but it's a good film. [sp]the bingo scene was intense, i was told it was pretty scary but I didn't think he would just walk away[/sp]
Although I don't understand [sp]why evans dad started saying it was bill who did it, what made him think that?[/sp]

Exactly. I can just imagine the types of kids that think this movie was best thing to happen since The Marine.

It's less amazing that he goes on a killing spree, but more impressive that he [sp] gets away with it [/sp]
I've seen the film today and I liked it. Was it amazing? Nope, but it was a good film.
The acting was great, the dialogue was really great, considering it's mostly improvised.
The film doesn't have a very original plot but it does it well. I hated the shaky camera a lot, I think it's annoying. But I thought that it was a really entertaining movie and it's worth watching.
It's the best film of Uwe Boll so far and I hope he continues to impress me.
