I warey of all of your comments as I'm guessing most of you get errections over gunfire. I haven't seen it but it looks like its just some controversial film for Uwe Boll to gain some publicity. But hey! It could be amazing! I doubt it though.
Watch movies before talking shit about them.
Watch movies before talking shit about them.
You're right. This movie is so deep, and the experience of him watching the movie will help him realize he's ignorant. There is literally no need to watch the movie to understand what happens. Besides "action" (aka[sp]him just randomly shooting people[/sp]), there isn't much to gain out of the movie when it comes to knowledge you can put towards a debate. He's right, and he didn't even watch the movie. Usually watching a movie would be necessary to make a point, but reading what happens in the OP basically does this movie justice unless you like the "action" described above.

I'm sure there's some real deep messages throughout the film! In between the shooting of innocents. Schindler's List move aside!
Watch movies before talking shit about them.
I didn't talk shit about it, yet. Actually I probably wont bother watching it.
It's not really a movie about shooting people. Considering that the shooting doesn't even begin until past halfway through, it can't really be considered a film about mindless violence. The film is a look at that voice in the back of your head that makes you want to beat the shit out of someone when they screw you over. The voice that very few people listen to, but it's there. It sparks some unique emotions, since you're trying to think "This guy is a sick fuck god damn" the whole time, but at the same time, you're hating yourself for knowing that you've had thoughts like that too. Maybe not to the extent of killing tons of innocent people, but just thoughts about snapping and going ape-shit on everyone. Also, despite how psychotic the main character's actions and ideas are, he actually makes sense. While people disagree with his solution to things, the baseline logic behind his actions is actually pretty solid. However, you constantly fight with yourself during the movie, since you want to agree with that foundation logic, but at the same time you're trying to distance yourself from the character as much as possible. I doubt Uwe Boll intended all of this stuff (maybe he did, nobody really knows), but it really isn't just a movie about mindless violence. Sure, kids that get off on gore and stuff will see it as that, but I found myself viewing the violence as filler between key scenes instead of thinking the film was about the violence with random scenes being used as filler.

Even though someone may find all of these components in the film (violence being just a filler between important scenes), I don't think they are well executed, and I still think they're so shallow that a visual representation isn't necessary.

This reminds me of the beginning of Lethal Weapon 4
It's not a bad movie. It's certainly not that deep and has a certain amount of plotholes and things that could have been easily rethought. Although it is much better than the rest of Uwe Boll's films, it's nothing spectacular. It's not innovative, the guy is in a desperate need for a Steady-Cam, but it certainly isn't bad, you could sit there and watch it with ease. Something that I did find quite annoying was that the main character's intentions went almost completely unexplored. He seemed to be just evil, not simply sick with society. Unlike similar films like Taxi Driver, the main character wasn't really all that bad off, and it just seems that the worst thing to happen on his day was that his mochiatte didn't have enough foam. He didn't even seem like a psychopath at all until I saw him get the guns out. Really, like, what's his purpose? Why did he do all that, waste all that cash? He talks about population control and the right of living, but it doesn't seem that he himself believes in that.
It was way better then his other movies, but i think it could've been done much better. The hairdresser part was freakin distrubing though. Also my avatar.
The acting was great.
Ehh.. Bill was OK, but his parents were really dull. Interesting movie, great ending. Not the sort of thing to watch with your family though, lest they think about putting you into a mental asylum for watching this.
Ehh.. Bill was OK, but his parents were really dull. Also, [sp] the coffee maker didn't seem scared at all when Bill showed up with his guns.[/sp]
It's one of those cases in which people see something that is so abstract and improbable that they can't really comprehend the situation logically. I mean, if a thug barged into the shop trying to rob the place, the owner probably would have shit himself. However, a fully armored guy with sub-machine guns and pistols strapped to him casually strolled in. It doesn't make any sense, so your brain blows a fuse and acts like nothing is happening. Let's say a T-Rex dropped from the sky onto your house right now. You probably wouldn't think "OH SHIT A T-REX!" and run away. You'd probably be in a state of disbelief, enough to the point where you are calm. You practically think to yourself "This is so ridiculous that it can't be real." Same concept with a heavily armored soldier strolling into your coffee shop.
Was a pretty good movie, ending wasn't what I was expecting. [sp]I expected the sheriff to kill him or something.[/sp] [sp]I thought it was odd how no one in bingo place noticed him until he took the bingo ball though.[/sp]

[sp]The reason no one noticed, or reacted, to Bill in the Bingo hall is that they were so lost in their game. They had so little to live for, that they have begun to loose all interest in the world around them. It's also why Bill doesn't kill them, since he considers them already dead.[/sp] Make of that what you will, since it's open to interpretation. Who knows if that's what Boll intended or not, but it worked for me.

I can't say that putting 'A film by Uwe Boll' on the promotional material really sold the movie much.
So what the fuck does this have to do about Facepunch: The Movie?
-snip stupid brother got my account banned-
So what the fuck does this have to do about Facepunch: The Movie?
Facepunch of full of nerds that dream of doing this. Or, at least, that's what I gather from it.
Really great film, Uwe has a pretty good (and messed up) sense of humor.
Sounds like he's trying to do Postal for real this time.
Okay first of all this movie is fucking sick. I watched the whole thing (pretty much so I don't look like a fool saying I cut it short halfway through). For a Uwe Boll movie this was good, but for the most part this made me sick. The sickest part was seeing the faces of the people as they died. The part with the salon was just fucking sickening. [editline]01:20PM[/editline]
Exactly. I can just imagine the types of kids that think this movie was best thing to happen since The Marine.
that movie was just shit i mean every 5 seconds it was "FUCKING EXPLOSION JUMP INTO THE WATER IN SLOW MOTION HOLY SHIT THIS IS AMAZING"
I just saw it. It was certainly... er, shall we say different?
i liked it
I loved the part were he ran out of ammo whilst the woman was crying in the corner, I was thinking ' oh he wont kill her'. ''Been a shitty day ain't it?'' BAMBAMBAM
