I read some reviews and apparently the bingo hall scene was shot in a real bingo hall in the middle of a game, just think about that.
Looks like a pointless gorefest actually. Uwe Boll ain't gonna make a good movie.
he could've gotten away with all of the money, he printed out fake money and thats the money he burned in front of everybody in the bank. so as far as they knew, the money was gone.
The film is a look at that voice in the back of your head that makes you want to beat the shit out of someone when they screw you over. The voice that very few people listen to,
PLEASE tell me that isn't worded in the way I think it is.
The hairdressers scene was fucking disgusting. I don't care what it was supposed to mean I found it sickening.
The hairdressers scene was fucking disgusting. I don't care what it was supposed to mean I found it sickening.
alright then.
Reading these posts, it seems to be a somewhat compelling movie. Might have to find it sometime.
PLEASE tell me that isn't worded in the way I think it is.
It is worded the way you think it is.
It actually came together well in the end. I was surprised
I'm not sure about this one. It wasn't that good to me. I liked the Bingo scene, and that's about it. The writing came off as pretentious, and trying too hard to be Palahniuk. The dialogue didn't impact me at all. That coupled with acting skills ranging from pretty okay to downright horrible, the camera being handled by Michael J Fox, and just the overall premise of the film, made the entire experience just...Bleh. Watchable, forgettable, will never watch again.
Anyone know where I could find this movie?
I'm glad he killed the coffee store guy. I thought it was a bit weird he killed the chicken den chick. I still don't understand the bingo scene. Why did he just walk out? And why did no one notice he was wearing a full body of armour and carrying two SMGs?
I liked this movie, the hairdresser scene was pretty disturbing though. All the innocent women and girls. :ohdear:
I liked this movie, the hairdresser scene was pretty disturbing though. All the innocent women and girls. :ohdear:
I thought it was kinda funny "Oh shit sorry ladies probably shouldn't have shown you my face... oh well ay?" *DAKKADAKKADAKKADAKKADAKKA*
I'm glad he killed the coffee store guy. I thought it was a bit weird he killed the chicken den chick.
guy couldn't make coffee for shit. deserved it. who doesn't give money back too if the customer is unhappy? what a cunt.
guy couldn't make coffee for shit. deserved it. who doesn't give money back too if the customer is unhappy? what a cunt.
exactly!
He also forgot that extra foam.
Just finished watching it and i thought it was a pretty good movie for Uwe Boll. although i dont know why everyone is saying the bingo scene is cleaver, I found it strange how he [sp]just walked out[/sp] The only things i didnt like about the movie is the camera was way too shaky. and also the clips of him just sitting there and smoking went on for way too long. Lets just hope nobody attempts to copy this movie in real life.
I still don't understand the bingo scene. Why did he just walk out? And why did no one notice he was wearing a full body of armour and carrying two SMGs?
Posted this earlier, will post again. Here's an interpretation I liked. [sp]The reason no one noticed, or reacted, to Bill in the Bingo hall is that they were so lost in their game. They had so little to live for, that they have begun to loose all interest in the world around them. It's also why Bill doesn't kill them, since he considers them already dead.[/sp] Make of that what you will, since it's open to interpretation. Who knows if that's what Boll intended or not, but it worked for me.
A paintball mask? YEAH THAT'S BULLETPROOF.
Anyone know where I could find this movie?
You best be joking, son.
A paintball mask? YEAH THAT'S BULLETPROOF.
It's more about disguise than protection, he turns away and crouches when actually fired upon.
A paintball mask? YEAH THAT'S BULLETPROOF.
It's not a paintball mask, it's a multi-layer kevlar/steel mask with a similar design. They exist.
It's available to stream on netflix, I am gonna watch it now.
The comments in this topic sold it for me. totally watching this.
Just watched it, wasn't bad at all, kinda liked it. I guess I felt bad at one point or another but I kind of felt what he was doing was right in one way so that's what I held onto.
I thought it was a pretty decent movie, especially the bingo part. I love the dig at fast food chains that is made when the kid is still doing his bit about how the restaurant appreciates his business. The ending was trippy to me, [sp]just because I didn't figure he cared about the money at all.[/sp]

Just christened my Netflix account by watching this movie. I am so fucking glad I did. 5 stars. [editline]04:09AM[/editline] Uwe Boll's first good movie
I lol'd throughout. There must be something wrong with me..
I actually didn't mind this movie, but i'm one of the few people who would actually admit when Uwe Boll actually creates an ok film. [sp]It seems a little out there when he gets away with it. And that explosion that's like a mini nuclear bomb seems a little unrealistic to me.[/sp]
