Thank you. I took it personally, which was probably a mistake. And I do agree that there are people that 'have a girlfriend' and expect it to make them cool or "normal." In fact, after one of my acquaintances (not really a friend) found out that I had been dating my girlfriend for 6 months, he actually went out of his way to ask some no name girl out. Just to compete with me. It's ridiculous and sad, really.

When I moved, I decided to take as much recreational activities to keep me busy and make friends along the way.
Just take fighting classes, and some sports (Like Paintball) and you can make an easy 10 friends by the end of the week, that you can chill with and have a beer with.
