Truly this is a sign of motherly madness; mothers so distraught by the miscarriage of their children that they try to deny the reality of their kids actually being dead.

It makes sense that something like a miscarriage, coupled with a mentally-unstable mother, would yield this kinda stuff. Personally, I'd say they should bury the dead things and consider getting surrogates to carry what they themselves could not, or even adopt; the latter is more economical since 7 billion is a number we can't hope to reliably sustain at our current tech level on this dying world.

I just watched that show for the first time on Netflix, it was really good. The final episode was very creepy and surreal. I've got the prequel movie in the mail, should be able to watch it in a couple days.

I'm hoping that they make a third season set 25 years after the events of the first two seasons. There are vague rumors that Lynch is talking to NBC about a new show, its unknown whether it's Twin Peaks related.

This just happened to me, and so Ill give you a little back story. Its like 9:30 at night and I'm home alone not listening to any music just kinda sitting here reading some news. My room has 2 windows, one facing a neighbors house on the side of mine, and another facing the forest in my backyard. Now beside the window facing the back is my deck, the window is off to the side of the deck a few feet. The window is open to let some cool air into my room, and now, you know how you cant look outside at night through a window that is being lit inside? That's whats happening to me, but I can still hear things outside. You ever get that feeling that you're being watched? Yeah, windows like this don't really help...

I noticed it was really really quite, I couldn't hear any of the birds or insects outside, which usually happens when something is around them and they just stop. I didn't really think anything of it until I heard thumps coming from outside my window. These weren't just thumps of whatever, they were the thumps of footsteps on my deck, and not the hard kind of thump you hear when people wear shoes, this was a barefoot sound. I thought it might be my brother or dad trying to get into the house from the backdoor or something, but it was too early for that.

I told my friend on steam about it and just how creepy it was around my house at the time, no sounds, no vehicles, street lights weren't even on yet. I went and took some pictures for him with the flash on (so he could see) using my shitty canon power shot camera (it doesn't show you real time preview after you took the picture so I took quite a few so I would be sure it was working right).

The first set of pictures I took were at around 9:30, but I had some problems getting them off the camera and ended up taking more at about 9:50.

Exactly 20 minutes apart. I checked out the second picture and kinda wondered what the glowing object was, since I didn't have anything reflective in my backyard. Now, I zoomed in and something caught my eye off to the right, it stuck out ever so slightly in the dark. It was a fucking face.
Im still home alone, and I know that wasn't one of my neighbors because they are all elderly and go to bed early. The forest behind my house leads to an old abandoned town up the road, but there is never anyone there for anything since there aren't many buildings left. I don't know what this is but it really freaked the fuck out of me and I'm not sure what I should do. I don't want to die.
