[QUOTE=Joem1k;39832806]i need to ask what the hell is cheaple ?[/QUOTE] it's a kind of model that VALVe uses when you only see it from very far away - it's basically an extremely low-poly version of a particular model that they can have lots of to give the impression that an area is crowded without impacting performance as much. they generally look pretty weird due to rigging issues and very low-res textures, but the citizen cheaple in particular is quite creepy because its facial features are somewhat underdeveloped, and instead of having actual eyes, they just have deep black pits textured on in their place. it also has this weird-ass expression on its face that makes it look kind of oddly expectant, which makes sense since i'm fairly certain the citizen cheaple is some kind of humanoid abomination.

I read about the Byford Dolphin thing on TV tropes. It said that in the coroner's report that one of the divers was "reduced to pot-roast"
That Byford Dolphin incident sounds real grisly, though it also reminds me of the last scene in Alien Resurrection where Ripley burns a hole in a window and the human-Alien gets sucked out like a vacuum-powered straw sucking the juice out of an orange. Truly a terrible fate to meet with.

Probably but still; getting mashed into pot roast by explosive decompression is a terrible way to go, especially since you end up leaving behind a huge mess unlike simply ragdolling when your heart stops. I honestly wouldn't want to leave behind a huge mess if I died; think of the amount of anti-blood shampoo you'd need...
