If you grew up with those books all of those pictures look more cool and trippy than creepy, for some reason.
The only books which scared me as a kid was those horrible Struwwelpeter German fairy tales.
Something in the Mirror
Vladimir was reaching for towel when he saw it. Something in mirror, darting out of his line of vision. He stared at mirror for a while, trying to work out what he’d seen, drinking vodka from bottle in meantime. There was nothing but reflection. He beginning to dry himself, and he saw it again. Flickering out the corner of his eye, something in mirror! He stepped out of the shower and towards the mirror.
Vladimir’s wife, Tatyana, arrive home later that evening, but Vladimir is nowhere to be found. After searching shack, all she could find of him was towel lying on floor. Tatyana phone KGB like good Soviet woman.
KGB inform Tatyana that Vladimir saw gypsy in mirror, and that Vladimir give chase like strong comrade should. Glorious Communist State give Vladimir award for catching gypsy; two bottles of vodka.
Two days after gypsy-catching, Tayana disappeared from face of Earth. Unfaithful capitalist whore executed for wasting valuable KGB time.
Such is life in Moscow.
Nevermind, I found it:

The story that went with this one was funny.

I hate that, came across that poster thrice already.
Anyone know that really stupid creepy pasta? It's really poorly written and this person goes out on halloween, gets abducted and falls on hot coals face first? Then the mask is melted to their face?

Are we still doing thread music? I'd like to make a spooky suggestion for next week:

Was it true there was an autoplaying video in one of the last threads?

I vaguely remember something like that,I wouldn't be surprised if it happened once or twice.
Page 29 in the first or second thread was supposedly haunted too or something, I personally never had issues with it though.

Well, I'm still doing it, and I have been. I already went through these songs:
1. Silent Hill Music
2. Metroid Room Ambience
3. The one that's up now.
I could add this one next week, but feel free to request music. I'm actually starting to run dry, already. I update the op every sunday.
[editline]22nd March 2013[/editline]
and I can add autoplay ones on vimeo too, but I don't know how.
Where did that comic strip with the boy looking at the lady come from?
Anyone have that old story about some kid's grandmother, who went senile and started predicting stuff that happens to her a few hours later? Then she acted like she drowned and everyone died, so the kid decides to run away?
It wasn't really that scary, but I remember some good stories from the same book, and I forgot what they're about.
This is my first time in this thread, so excuse me if I'm late, but I might suggest that you guys read "Normal Porn for Normal People".
http://creepypasta.wikia.com/wiki/Normal_Porn_for_Normal_People
I read it on Tumblr last year, and it rendered me incapable of normal human functions for about a week, which sucked because I had midterms to study for.

wait, shit, it's in the op
I remember seeing a really, fucking scary, animation when I was a kid. It was an animated old man and he sang, "I got Rabies and scabies and hair on my back." Anyone got a link?
This page needs more text, have two pieces of anal juice I wrote for a thread on /x/ about a month ago.

Hopelessness
I never got a full look at the thing, by the time I heard the screaming I was already bolting for the door.
No sooner had I barred the door with an IV stand, then it was looking at me, with it's dead, lifeless eyes through the tiny, tiny window in the door.
I've seen many people come and go in this room, in many states of dead and dying.
I've seen them go quietly, and I've seen them go kicking and screaming. I'm afraid I won't have much choice in the matter.
I know there isn't anything I can do, except wait here to die.
I can see it's face through the tiny glass window, built into the door now.
It's laughing at me, we both know the IV stand I barred the door with won't stop it for long, but it hasn't attempted entry yet.
I think it enjoys watching me squirm in here, like a cat watching a mouse whose legs it has broken.
It is fiddling with the door now, half heartedly pushing and pulling it.
My eyes dart across the room, looking for something, anything that I might use to defend myself. The Table Lamp? Too heavy. Pocket knife? Too small.
Shard of glass? The bathroom has a mirror I could break. No, I'd just end up getting myself hurt.
Who am I kidding? It is hopeless, even if I had a shotgun it wouldn't faze this thing.
I'm going to die here, cold and alone. I'm going to die on it's terms, and there's nothing I can do. I could try fighting it, but it would rip me apart in seconds. I could try jumping out the window, or cutting myself, but it would break through the door and kill me in seconds.
There's nothing I can do except wait, and write, but what of?
I think I know. I might die on your terms but I'll sure as hell live on mine.

Forests
I've always enjoyed spending time in the woods behind my house, they're quiet, out of way and no one thinks to look for me there. I can relax, and think clearly on anything troubling me. Some of my deepest insights have come from spending time there.
The trees are pretty tall as well, which is a plus because I've always enjoyed climbing them.
Yesterday, deep in the woods I found the biggest yet, towering over all the others by a great deal. I'm anxious about climbing it, as I've never climbed one so high before. But I think of what the view must be lack from the very top, I have to see this.
I spent the better part of the day wandering the woods, before finally finding the tree I was looking for. Standing in it's shadow, looking up, I can't help but feel a sense of awe, how a thing of such beauty managed to remain hidden away from me, for the many years I've been going into this woods, is beyond me.
It took me a few minutes, but I found a way up. Climbing this giant of a tree was a very slow process, and by the time I got a quarter of the way up it was getting dark. I decided to climb back down, and start again earlier tomorrow. The view, even from so low on the tree, was so much better then that of the other trees. I simply must get to the top of this tree.
I found the tree much faster today, and after a few moments of studying the branches, began climbing. After yesterday, I was able to climb it much faster as well, but by the time I made it a third of the way up, it was already starting to get dark. I barely made it down before I couldn't see anything. Thankfully, I managed to find my way home before long, but I need to start earlier still, if I hope to climb all the way up before it gets dark. The view from that point, was simply beautful. I simply must see the view at the top.
Today I started just before dawn, and by the time I got to the tree it was already light out.
I quickly began my climb, getting a third of the way up in no time.
No sooner had I managed to get there, however, then I noticed something.
Branches. Or the lack there of. There wasn't a way up from here... A safe way, anyway.
A few feet to the left, and a little up was another group of branches leading up, but I'd have to jump for it.
Before I could even think, I leap from the branch I was standing on, toward the other branch.
Before I even realized I missed the jump, I felt a massive shattering pain in my chest, I had hit a branch. The first of many. I was falling.
I panicked, praying for something, anything to grab onto or slow my fall with.
My prayers were answered. I managed to grab a branch with my right hand.
Which then violently twisted and snapped, I had been moving too fast, and my hand shattered from the sheer weight behind my fall.
The amount of pain was blinding, but before I fully realized my hand was broken, my left leg had already smacked into another branch.
With another violent CRACK I felt the bones in my leg break.
I tried reaching out for another branch, but remembering the pain in my now broken hand, hesitated, giving time for another branch to slam into my left arm, twisting it out of place.
Before I could let out another scream, another branch slammed into my chest, breaking even more bones.
By the time I realized I was nearing the ground, I had already landed feet first, completely shattering any bones left in my legs and feet.
I crashed into the ground, facing upward, toward the giant tree. Even in this pain, I can tell it is beautiful.
I simply must get to the top.
I simply must get up.
I simply mu...
