This just popped up in my Youtube recommendations. It's a couple of years old, but I thought I'd share anyway. [editline] [/editline] Parents saw this in an art museum. Caption was "Same day service or sooner" http://www.mca.com.au/exhibition/claire-healy-and-sean-cordeiro/

the coat fuck yeah!
I really liked the green coat. While this one is nice it doesn't suit 11's personality. I miss the green coat, it was better than the tweed.
That dialogue transcript sounds interesting. [editline]9th October 2012[/editline] I mean, obviously it'd sound interesting to me because it's a transcript of dialogue from one of my favourite TV shows. But it also sounds interesting because it sounds like an interesting idea. [editline]9th October 2012[/editline] ...shut up
I don't mean to drag this up again, buuuuut...
That still doesn't explain how nobody saw it move to the hotel.
Angels only move when nothing is looking at them, silly.
Angels only move when nothing is looking at them, silly.
And how was there ever a timeframe where no one in the city was even remotely looking at it? And not ever notice it's absence from it's spot?
And surely in New York there would be atleast one person looking at the stature at all times, even if its just seeing it in the skyline.
Don't blink.
And surely in New York there would be atleast one person looking at the stature at all times, even if its just seeing it in the skyline.
I think that the statue was a distraction, it would move through the city guarded by hundreds of angels and stop when people saw it. As those people were looking at it the angels would take the opportunity to displace them in time or whatever the technical term for it is. I guess the statue was basically bait.
Or your trying to justify something which the writers over-looked

The giant Angel seemed like it was only in the script as a punchline. Like Moffat sat down and said "Fuck. Imagine the Statue of Liberty was an Angel haha... Oh wait shit yeah. I'm the lead writer". Let's face it the Statue of Liberty is pretty fucking big, you'd see it from the other side of the fucking city if it suddenly moved to a new place. Heck you'd see it missing it of it's podium. Not 1 or 2 people either. Hundreds. People wouldn't forget that shit either. Also noticed something Moffat does in a lot of his stories. "It never really happened but it kinda did" - First he erases parts of the series with the cracks. - Next he has The TARDIS explode so time gets fucked but then it's all reset at the end like it never happened but it kinda did (EG, Rory being plastic) - Then River didn't shoot The Doctor causing a paradox where he got married to her in a universe that didn't really happen but it kinda did (EG, Winston Churchill was never a holy Roman emperor, The Doctor DID get married) - Now Amy and Rory jump off a roof so Rory doesn't really die even though he kinda did. - Heck even the Christmas special where he changes the guys life infront of his eyes so he had a bunch of memories of things that never really happened but kinda did.
I blame "timey wimey" It's an excuse for laziness.
So I saw an episode where Amy and Rory are in the year 2015, and their future selves wave to them. How is that possible, though? Seeing as [sp]Amy and Rory kind died much earlier than that[/sp]

It's amazing because in the same scene The Doctor says it isn't a fixed moment in time and can change. In the end of the episode Rory dies and he's no longer standing on the hill waving.

What with the Daleks forgetting him and all, makes sense. Which I dislike immensely.
I agree, this BS card they keep pulling of "didn't really happen but kinda did" gets old quick. I want the story to go forward and matter, not be like some fanfiction that didn't happen.
Does anyone really know what the name is for the things like "Bad Wolf", "Torchwood" and "Mr. Saxon"? I originally would've called them story arcs, but only the very last episodes really cover it. But with the cracks/the Doctor's "death", it's right there from the start and is pretty much stated that it'll be the story arc for the series and we're constantly reminded in pretty much every episode. But with the others, you hardly notice it unless you figure it out/are looking for it really. Just wondering if there's an actual name for the more...I don't know...hidden build-up to the finale?
"gimmick"
I'd call them foreshadowing, except for the doctor's death that was obvious.
continuity?
A little filming video which a few of you may or may not be interested in.. http://telly.com/J9XYQ Transcript: [sp]The Doctor is on the driveway of the house where Clara works. The Tardis is parked up and a robot is lying on a workbench, with the Doctor sat beside it on a netbook. Clara leans out of the attic window at the side of the house. CLARA: Hello? The Doctor looks up. He stands, putting the netbook on the chair. DOCTOR: Hello! Are you feeling better? CLARA: I'm in bed. DOCTOR: Yes. CLARA: I don't remember going. DOCTOR: No. CLARA: What happened? The Doctor pulls out a piece of paper and moves over towards the house. DOCTOR: Oo, quite a lot actually. Angie called and left a message - she's staying over at Nina's. Apparently that shouldn't be a problem. For god's sake get off her back! Also Dad phoned, complaining about the government, he seemed very cross with them. I've got several pages on that. I said I'd look into it. I fixed that rattling noise in the washing machine, indexed the kitchen cupboards, optimised the photosynthesis in the flowerbeds, I assembled a quadricycle.. CLARA: Assembled a what? DOCTOR: I found a disassembled quadricycle in the garage. CLARA: Okay DOCTOR: I invented the quadricycle! CLARA: What happened? DOCTOR: Goodnight Clara. Clara withdraws back into her bedroom, closing the window. Clara bursts back out of the window. CLARA: Are you guarding me? DOCTOR: Well yes, yes I am. CLARA: Am I in trouble? (We think this is the right dialogue.) DOCTOR: Yes I think so CLARA: Are they still out there? (Again, not certain.) DOCTOR: Yes I do think they are, probably CLARA: Are you seriously going to sit down there all night? DOCTOR: Yes I promise, I won't budge from this spot. CLARA: Well then, I'll have to come to you! The Doctor flusters, stands up and brushes his hair back. He moves over to the robot and starts fiddling with the leg of the robot - using a spanner on the knee and pulling/extending the leg. This is presumably followed by the scene when Clara comes to sit with The Doctor - cuppa in hand.[/sp]
Oh no... "Doctor Who and the Tardis by Craig Hurle Special Scene to be released tomorrow: Would Brian – and viewers – ever learn more about Amy and Rory’s life after the Doctor? A special scene was written by Chris Chibnall that revealed some of the answers but sadly, the sequence was never shot. However, we’re happy to announce that we’ll be bringing you the scene tomorrow. Using animated storyboards and a voice-over specially recorded by Arthur Darvill, we’ll discover more about Brian and the Ponds, post-Angels. It begins with Brian alone, doing what he once told the Doctor must be done – watering the plants. But his life is about to change forever… Doctor Who’s Executive Producer, Caro Skinner, said, ‘We’re delighted we can present this lovely scene written by Chris Chibnall. People took Rory’s dad, Brian, to their hearts very quickly, so it’s fitting we can give the character a degree of closure in this poignant piece.’" PREPARING FOR THE FEEEEELLLSSSSSS
Was just about to post that myself =D Looking forward to it!
I was afraid they were going to blow off Brian, I'm glad they're doing this at least.
I kinda didn't want them to do it because they'd probably mess it up. Oh we'll...
