Oh and I've lost the source :( was a very nice picture of Tenth Doctor sitting on top of a pile of his enemies.
is this the one?
http://www.metro.co.uk/tv/917033-matt-smith-reveals-doctor-who-christmas-special-details Possible spoilers.
is this the one?
Pretty cool, but what's with the fish?
Pretty cool, but what's with the fish?
Is it from the Christmas special with the fish that can fly around in the air because of reasons And there's a shark there at one point

Maybe he'd just gone fishing
not the tenth doctor
Oh, right. Had a minor brain malfunction and completely failed to make the connection between the monsters and the tenth doctor. Doy.

The iconic enemies will feature in an adventure directed by Stephen Woolfenden and written by the acclaimed Neil Gaiman whose previous episode was the Hugo Award-winning, The Doctor’s Wife. Starring Matt Smith as the Doctor and Jenna-Louise Coleman as the new companion, the episode co-stars Warwick Davis (Life’s Too Short and Harry Potter), Tamzin Outhwaite (EastEnders and Hotel Babylon) and Jason Watkins (Being Human and Lark Rise to Candleford) as a band of misfits on a mysterious planet… Gaimermen, advance! (okay, I made that bit up)
Hoping they get redesigned
The original rumour (which Gaiman denied, but obviously wasn't all false..) was that it had nothing to do with the Cybus Cybermen, and would indeed be a redesign, or a return to Mondas - perhaps this "mysterious planet" isn't too new. The Cybermen's Victory of the Daleks, if you will - a way to set them up properly again.
That's good, I'm looking forward to new Cybermen. I've found them pretty dull since after Doomsday, they need to be more threatening because at the moment they seem to be laughable.
We have only had the Cybus Cybermen in Moffat's Who because they couldn't spend enough money on a decent redesign, apparently.
I had no idea "the doctors wife" won an award. I thought it a pretty poor episode.
We have only had the Cybus Cybermen in Moffat's Who because they couldn't spend enough money on a decent redesign, apparently.
Yeah, I think they made a decision to spend the budget on redesigning the Daleks instead.
I had no idea "the doctors wife" won an award. I thought it a pretty poor episode.
Well, it was the highest rated episode of the series. Series 7 will be the first New-Who series to feature both the Daleks and the Cybermen in places... which aren't Earth.

Oh man, Gaiman writing a Cyberman episode makes me wet
Well, it was the highest rated episode of the series. Series 7 will be the first New-Who series to feature both the Daleks and the Cybermen in places... which aren't Earth.
I thought A Good Man goes to War was the highest rated of Series 6.

hot.
hot.
You know, for a minute there it looked like the doctor was getting crushed by that cyber-man, who appeared to be unconscious.
Yeah, I think they made a decision to spend the budget on redesigning the Daleks instead.
A redesign which they completely forgot about in the new series:
I thought A Good Man goes to War was the highest rated of Series 6.
Having not won two awards, and seen by fewer viewers, sadly not.
Speaking of Gaiman's Cyberman episode, someone I follow just tweeted this; http://www.reddit.com/r/doctorwho/comments/12sx7e/look_what_a_facebook_friend_found_in_a_taxi_in/
A redesign which they completely forgot about in the new series:
Calling it now, 11th Doctor's final story arc involves these new Daleks fucking with the Time War.
Nah, the final story arc of the 11th is going to be about how some other completely random person is the most important person in the history of the universe or something
Cybermen redesign confirmed. Tomb of the Cybermen style heads - from set reports.
A.K.A. guys in balaclavas
