Colin Baker said that he's gone into the jungle so he can lose weight. He was pretty good on it tonight so I think he'll be there for a while.
Colin Baker said that he's gone into the jungle so he can lose weight.
I think we can all tell that's a lie
the only reason anyone goes into the jungle is to try and inject life into their frankly pathetic tv career.
Pics out. Not too different, sadly... and they still look noisy :<

Looking more like Mondas. Really like this design. Look terrifying if they don't CLUNK.
Colin Baker
As Doctor Who nerds we're not really expected to like Colin Baker, watch ITV or enjoy reality TV. But as somebody who considers all 3 a guilty pleasure I was excited to see Colin Baker is in this series of Imma Celebrity Get me Out of Here.
I've not watched it yet but according to Doctor Who fans and Non-fans on Twitter, Colin is a favourite. With such zingers like:
"What sort of actor are you, Colin?"
"A good one"
....
"Someone say something positive!"
"I'm positively knackered!"
Class. I met Colin Baker a few years ago when I was a spotty greasy nerd who wear clothes two sizes too big. He looked down on a lot of fans like we're scum and was quite above us and shit. Yet he was specially nice to children. He was saying how The Doctor is doing it all wrong and he knows the secret of defeating those Weeping Angels. Then he praised Matt Smith and said he loves it a lot. But he seems to think he's more than he is, I get the same sense from interviews and his Twitter.
Hope he wins though.
Pretty cool, but what's with the fish?
I'm so disappointed nobody figured this out. I'm not even gonna give you the answer until at least one of you figures it out from either the monsters name or the quote The Tenth Doctor used to describe them.

It's the krillitane because they probably looked like fish at some point in their evolution
Sylvester McCoy - A major role in The Lord of the Rings movie franchise
Colin Baker - Imma Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here and Come Dine With Me.

I would've guessed that, but they aren't really fish at all, just little microscopic shadow things. Otherwise my previous "pilot fish" guess would be equally valid as an answer :v:
Uhh... Does this count as old gold?

Don't get me wrong, IAC is a massive guilty pleasure of mine. I fucking love it. It's just that Colin Baker seems to think he was a much better Doctor than he actually was. and he's a diva.

It's most likely a coping mechanism as he has a low self esteem.
So I'm nearing the end of Series 6, after which...

I wonder where I'll be up to when series 7 starts up again?

Wish they would hurry up and finish of the last few stories they need to finalise.
I'd love a full box set for the 50th anniversary. Even if it's just the Complete Tom Baker Years
Hold up, a new episode is coming out?
When, what time?

There's a short special episode during Children in Need on Friday but the next proper episode is the Christmas special.
It's almost time..

I hope the Doctor brings back the coat from series 6.
Loved the coat.
Wow, this is actually surprisingly good.
Starting with david tennant is not an option, You need to start from the beginning. Whether or not you watch the original series depends on if you can bare how dated it is, I didn't watch it and started the new series just fine.
Not only that, but Season 1 was really good.
I mean, it was quite rocky, but it had some amazing episodes. Dalek, The Empty Child/The Doctor Dances, Father's Day, lots of great ones.

I loved it enough that if I had 1200 dollars to spend
I would have bought the custom tailored replica
(except for the fact california doesn't get cold enough)
It's an old British army coat isn't it?
Look on eBay for a surplus dealer. It wouldn't be exactly the same, but it would be similar.
Has anyone been keeping up with I'm a celeb, specifically colin baker's performance. I only watched the first episode and he came across pretty well.

Doesn't get as much screen time as one may like, but he has continued to come off as a gentleman. Quite a popular face with the regular viewers. Often cited to make it through to the final already, without Whovian intervention.

I'm guessing Paul McGann's file only has one video? :v:
Didn't Paul McGann also voice The Doctor in a bunch of audio books?
Yeah, in which he's started dressing quite a bit like the ninth doctor:

Although apparently this is what he wanted to wear for the movie but the producers thought otherwise.
I look forward to seeing how they'll explain JLC's presence in Asylum of the Daleks. Maybe it's going to be a River Song setup, where the first time the Doctor meets her is the last time she meets him?
She's playing a different character I believe.
