Video with the Doctor's new companion:

Why is it I can handle the doctor changing without a problem, but the companion switching annoys me so much? Well I wouldn't say annoys, it just upsets me having to get used to a new set of characters.
It's rational with the Doctor because every new form he takes is supposed to act different aside from the obviously quirks that make them the doctor. And of course it's only a single person that changes, when they change a companion (such as Amy Pond) they're taking out a huge chunk of other characters as well (Rory and probably River) which each define the overall personality of the Doctor and the film.

Why the fuck are they on a roof for no reason?
Why the fuck are they on a roof for no reason?
no reason
Beats being in an office or an office corridor or a stairwell leading to an office corridor or the entrance to a stairwell leading to an office corridor though.
She's not my type, but as long as she's a great actor on the doctor who set it's good enough for me.
Bought the Doctor Who Sonic Screwdriver screwdriver. Honestly, I'm less than happy with it. It looks great and being made out of metal makes it feel really sturdy, but it sounds wrong and it's pretty uncomfortable to use as a screwdriver. I would of preferred the toy.
[editline]Yup[/editline]
Also, I think the new companion might turn out well. I loved Amy and Rory, but honestly I kind of felt that the Doctor became a third wheel in a bad way in the last season.
She looks like her and the doctor might have chemistry
Chemistry, eh?

Also, how long does the Doctor get to spend with River? We all know how it ends, but not when in Smith's/Future Incarnation's timeline that happens.

No companion should stay for more than 2 series. I hate that. I like it being fresh. Or you get to our current situation where Amy is as perceived as being experienced as The Doctor.

She clearly doesn't watch the show but she seems to be a decent actor.
Her Emmerdale character was annoying, but she seems completly different.
Also she was a lesbian in Emmerdale so when we all inevitably fall in love with her, the wank bank is already there.
Sarah Jane Smith was great, there were even talks to bring her back under the transition from fourth to fifth doctor and she was in more episodes then rose.
Now doctor to companion ratio would bother me if a doctor didn't have many companions during his regeneration. I think an actor playing the doctor should go 5 years min.
I'm very much excited about how Amy dies. Personally I love the character/creature that kills her.
[sp]No spoilers here I couldn't do that to you[/sp]

I like the companions to be dumb so you won't get that much of a problem with her being from the North West :v: [SP]All looks and no brains[/SP][SP]I'm joking i'm from the North West too. Oh shit gonna get banned for excessive use of spoiler tags[/SP]
she is FIT
Why the fuck are they on a roof for no reason?
In case she changes her mind.
It's Rory, and he dies again in a plastic melting pit with his thumb pointing up.

She was good in Waterloo Road. Be weird seeing her as more of the good character in Doctor Who. Damn her voice too <3 Here have a fight scene

Interview with Moffat about it that said who or what was going to kill her and also gave the episode number
Edit.
Found the quote and it says LEAVE not DIE.
Apologies.
The following spoiler tags contain that quote and the information noted above.
IF YOU DON'T WANT TO KNOW THEN DON'T REVEAL THIS SPOILER!!

Now we're gonna have another sad Doctor. Can't they live peacefully?
Hearing it was confirmed we'll only have 5 episodes of Doctor Who this year and a Christmas Special and next year is 8?
Where did this come from? I thought the split was merely speculation.
Interesting if they have 8 episodes next year and there are 8 surviving actors who played The Doctor..

I wouldn't mind a council-estate type companion like Rose now actually. She'd suit it well too.
Met Jenna a few years ago (In that place called real life) as she's from my 'area.' Got her autograph which now adorns my Doctor Who shrine. Did I say shrine? I meant wall. Area. Thing.
But absolutely lovely woman so I couldn't have been happier when I found out she was to be in Doctor Who - as I was always trying to find out what she would be in next... like a stalker.
Anyway, first official photo

that's awesome man
I've never heard of her until now.
Of course the next chance to see Jenna will be in ITV's Titanic Mini-series starting this Sunday..

Thanks for letting us know Amy is going to be killed off, yeah don't spoiler tag that at all or anything when some people might not want to know such heavy plot moments. Thanks alot.
Here here to a second series of Doctor Who ruined due to leaks and spoilers that were thrown into peoples faces, with the other one being Series 6!

If Moffat is openly admitting that Amy's being killed off, it can't be that important. It's HOW she's killed off that's important.

To my knowledge, that hasn't been confirmed at all. Even if Moffat is spouting about somebody's death, it's not like we haven't been down THAT road before.
