You know last year when the tagline was "Best. Christmas. Ever."
I disagree. [sp]Yeeeeaaah: http://i267.photobucket.com/albums/ii307/EvilGrizz/124_zps6c4155b8.png[/sp]
I love this companion.
Also, Potato Dwarf was fucking hilarious.
i fucking love strax he's brilliant
I hnng'd when [sp]Clara kissed The Doctor[/sp], I don't know why :v:
Strax is great.
[sp]"VASTRA SENT ME HERE TO ASK YOU IF YOU NEEDED ANY GRENADES. SHE MAY ALSO HAVE MEANT HELP."[/sp]
Got The Snowmen downloaded and it's looking good so I'll stream it tomorrow, meantime I'll be Streaming Dinosaurs on a Spaceship for a bit if you want to drop in and tell me what the quality etc. is like:

When Clara's one word was "pond" I started to wonder if Oswin was a manifestation of the Doctor's inner self dressed up as the perfect companion - like a character in a dream who symbolises what the dreamer would ideally like to be and who is able to do what the dreamer would like to be able to do.
But then we got modern day Oswin so maybe not
Anyone know where I can watch the Snowmen? The good TV with the BBC America is taken

I'll be streaming it tomorrow, probably sometime around 10PM GMT
Right, now give us a spin-off with Vastra, Strax and Jenny.
Never thought I'd see an Old God in a Christmas episode.
I bet the next season the Doctor is going to find out he's on a TV show but the producers are on a budget so they hire like three extras and Oswin is one of them
What a fantastic episode.
Doctor Who never has disappointed me.
That episode was amazing.
I'm so tired of the companions being love interests, I think every single female companion since the reboot has at a minimum kissed the doctor it's getting boring as shit.
Great episode!

Donna.
True, she kissed him, but it was to save him.
i can't tell if the "so it couldn't be you" bit was a misdirect or serious
...and nailed it
would love it if the doctor's first name turned out to be dave or something
"Alright Dave"

The Christmas special was absolutely fantastic. I love the new intro.
For those worried, I don't believe Clara will die each episode. She's 'the woman twice dead.' Also, did we see Nina at the end?!
I do like the title sequence... because it has every previous title sequence in it, if you look close enough.

Thanks, BBCA! Americans. They know about high definition.
Forget Oswin being in a Dalek, what if it ends up being the other way around? :v:
EDIT: Sounds stupid but I wouldn't be surprised.
The amount of humor was very abundant in this episode. Even my mom, who's never watched Doctor Who, loved this episode, laughed a LOT, and I think she's actually getting into it.
Then again she did get me four Doctor Who shirts, a sonic screwdriver, and two Tardis posters for my birthday so she may be a secret Whovian :v:
Rewatching little clips of the episode. I actually love the little one-word-answer test, and when Clara first enters the TARDIS.
Man this is like the first time since the cracks i've actually been curious to figure out what the hell is going on with one of the doctor who mysteries
if this is the standard of quality that I can expect now clara oswin oswald is around, count me in

Smaller on the outside got me :v:
I was actually waiting for her not to say anything along the lines of that really.
Also, if it is to do with the great intelligence and the Old God, this is definitely the episode where they got the idea from -

When she was supposed to sum up why the Doctor should help, I expected her to say Christmas.
