I have a hypothesis that all the episodes leading up to the 50th anniversary are going to be throw-backs to old episodes.
I'm excited that The Doctor's friends are showing up more and more. They're a great team.

Well I did see Ice warriors and the Cyberman are Mondas so it wouldn't be too suprising.

One niggle with the title sequence, is the 2D drop-shadow logo. It's so uninteresting compared to the rest of it. Guess they want it simple for their 'logo of the week.'

Well, that already seems to be happening, what with the "something impossible" happening. Oh well.

I actually found the Christmas special to be quite disappointing.. Oswin already bored me in her first episode and now there's some terrible "she always dies" plot.

She doesn't always die, I think it was confirmed that she's only going to die twice, which she's already done, and now there will be no more death
Furthermore, the fact that 18th century clara kissed him doesn't mean shit. It doesn't make her a love interest because as far as we know they're both different people. And Amy was hardly a love interest at all. That was definitely more of a paternal thing.
Imo shes a great companion, damn sight better than amy or rory who bored me to tears by the end
I think we all need to get right down to it and address what is clearly the biggest problem.

It was dumb and cringeworthy the first time, and it gets worse the more he says it. Seriously, it was said like three times in The Snowmen alone.

Moffat wants the companion to be a strong independent who don't need no Doctor, but the problem with that is that it just gets... boring. Predictable. If you're going to have an equal to the Doctor you might as well have another Time Lord.

This. Past, Present & Future Clara. The Woman Twice Dead. (ala Amy; 'The Girl Who Waited' / Donna; 'DoctorDonna' / Rose; 'The Bad Wolf' / Rory; 'The Man Who Dies Again and Again')
Tbh I don't see how you could think oswin is bad
Her character is a lot more likable than most of the companions, tbh
Clara Oswin Oswald is proving to be very popular indeed. She falls on the right side of feisty - unlike previous efforts. Still warm, friendly, likeable. Plus child-like rather than childish.
The smile they both shared after her "well I'm still talking to you aren't I?" sold me on that.
Still a Mary-Sue though.
All I really care about is that a Pond-less Who is going to be a more watchable Who, for me. See you all in April!

Isn't it impossible to have a human be equal to the Doctor, intelligence wise?
