this part wasnt in aussie tv >:(
Oh boy, Love and Monsters!
Yeah I agree but Moffat said part 2 will only have a 'loose' story arc. So I imagine the entire Clara thing is going to be mostly dropped till the last episode.
[editline]29th December 2012[/editline]
PS
THE NEW SEQUENCE IS AWESOME. THere's a bit from every previous intro sequence. From the 'misty' effect in the 60's to Pertwees colour scheme and vortex at the end.
Awesome.
[editline]29th December 2012[/editline]
Also seen this online, not sure if you all have. But Clara Oswalds was born on November 23rd; killed twice but keeps coming back.
Just like the show itself.
[editline]29th December 2012[/editline]
Also her surname is Oswald. Her shipmate in the Dalek episode was Harvey. Lee Harvey Oswald. The man responsible for two things in history; killing President JFK and causing the news to overun by 8 seconds into Doctor Who the following day.
[editline]29th December 2012[/editline]
wait shit. Wasn't the 9th doctor at the JFK assassination according to Rose? And the Seventh Doctor?
What if ALL The Doctors were at the JFK assassination and the 50th anniversary is based around it D: Then at the conclusion of the episode Oswin is somehow created yet becomes a paradox (probably due to being created by more than 1 Doctor at once) and appears all across time yet the minute any of her incarnations attempt to reunite with The Doctor they are killed D:
WHAT IS GOING ON.
dude
man
like dude
seriously bro
chill out
Oswin is the show guys.
And we're first introduced to the feisty future Clara, and then find out there was a more classic one.
Turns out the title sequence was designed around the previous variation of the theme: http://www.peterandersonstudio.co.uk/the_html/doctor_who_2013
That would account for a few rough edits. Expecting plenty of tweaks for April - especially as they seemingly haven't put together a full version yet..
"You are superior in only one respect."
"What is that?"
"You are better at dying"
Oh I love the discussion between the Daleks and the Cybermen.
JLC in the 13 for 13 feature in The Sun TV Mag pretty much confirms..
[sp]She will be in the 50th[/sp]

Is it just me, or did the theme tune sound kind of slower than usual in that?
Wait, there was a nude scene?
No, that scene is not from Doctor Who.
Wait, there was a nude scene?
The show has changed under Moffat and his "later time slot."
Wait, there was a nude scene?
It's okay I made the same mistake a few pages back.
I also have a homestuck avatar.
Coincidence?
So that nude scene is from another show? Cause if it was in Doctor Who, it was definitley cut in Canada :v:
Jesus christ guys do you really think a Doctor Who episode would have a nude scene?
Awww ye, finally at Gridlock. One of my favorite episodes!
Jesus christ guys do you really think a Doctor Who episode would have a nude scene?
Doctor Ooh : Backyard Timelord.
"Shagging his way through time"
Absolutely brilliant.
So remind me again what Moffat's bullshit scheduling reasons are? We're getting one season for the price of two now, and only two episodes in 2014 or something idiotic like that.
Are there any answers, or it just Moffat being a dumbass again?
Yes, raging, whatever.
Moffat has nothing to do with it.
He and the BBC just open their mouths and throw PR bullshit out when they should be quiet, or give us a real reason and we would accept it. They don't have to give us Doctor Who, but they shouldn't be blatently lying to us about stuff.
But, TV execs. Lost taught me well. Nothing we can do about it except express our frustrationto the Beeb. I say that because sitting rough months of "MOFFAT LIED. DEATH TO THE BBC" has been really boring. Not what we want to continue through the 50th.
GIVE ME CONFIDENTIAL BACK BBC!!!!
*shakes fist angrily*
This is Murray Gold's eighth Doctor Who theme. (Pre S1. S1. S2. VOTD. S4. S5. Confidential. S7-b)
I'm ready for somebody else to have a go. They also need to start using something other than Fish Custard and I Am The Doctor for minisodes, prequels and trailers. They really hold it back sometimes.
I was just playing around last night and so many different pieces of Doctor Who's soundtrack made the Series 7 Part 2 trailer more interesting. Hell, even unrelated music makes it feel a little more... fresh. We've had more TARDIS interiors and companions than we have recurring music cues.

I only saw that picture in the thread after it aired in Britain! There wasn't a whole lot of context posted with it...
I'll be honest, I wouldn't put it past Moffat :v:

Just imagine if Doctor Who was done by HBO :v:
Just imagine if Doctor Who was done by HBO :v:
It would the same amount of death.
But all of it would ambiguous or be offscreen.
