I see how he made that mistake. Squirrel and Giga both have the letter 'i'. Very similar words.
are you the doctor

Tennant out denying that he knows anything about the 50th. In other words, he knows everything about the 50th.
Tennant out denying that he knows anything about the 50th. In other words, he knows everything about the 50th.
Fan logic :v:
By now he would know if he wasn't involved. "Don't know" is the easiest way to get out of a situation.
Fan logic :v:
TV Production logic. There are some fans and press out there taking every word as gospel. "I don't know" and "I haven't heard anything" apparently equals "<name> RULES OUT APPEARANCE IN 50TH ANNIVERSARY." If we went down that road, there is something we know for sure. Nobody from Doctor Who's past is involved in any possible way throughout 2013 and it's history will not be celebrated at all ("no previous actors," "no previous villains," no previous stories" - all cited before now). So the question is, how much do you or anybody else really believe that? The majority of people involved will know by now. Some will have known for a long, long time (even Moffat knows not to start planning this event late). Gatiss' docudrama starts filming soon (so expect details on the BBC's official choice of first doctor recast) - then filming resumes for 2013 within two months or so.

(Besides the "default" shape) The closest I can think of is the TARDIS junkyard from the Doctor's Wife. [editline]6th January 2013[/editline] Also, bigger then the Enterprise D? that would mean the TARDIS is several kilometers in size. what would the Doctor do with all that space?
Fill it with a swimming pool, apparently.
what would the Doctor do with all that space?
Hide and seek. I would.

A huge amount of it is engines and shield projectors and scanners and storage and so on. Also one of those versions is several thousand kilometers in size.
I always thought that the TARDIS was literally a small universe. It's probably just the Eight Doctor book I read about eight years ago, the one where he meets each and every one of his previous incarnations, I believe the first in the series. I believe it says something like that in the introduction.

Other highlights "This year is the 50th anniversary of Doctor Who" "...Is it? I hadn't noticed" *Audience laugh* "I believe they're planning something special" "I believe t- I don't know"
Ohhh that was cheesier than Nacho Doritos being used to make actual nachos.
I never realised that Clara's theme actually plays during Asylum of the Daleks.
As announced last week, publishers Puffin are celebrating the Doctor Who 50th Anniversary with a series of eleven "eshorts", each focusing on a Doctor, from familiar children's authors. The first has been announced via the official Facebook page, details below: Eoin Colfer (author of the bestselling Artemis Fowl series) has written the very first short story in the Puffin ebook series celebrating the 50th Anniversary of Doctor Who! Eoin has reimagined the First Doctor and created a brand new Doctor Who adventure called A Big Hand For The Doctor, released on 23 January. He adds: “It’s different for me now because I’m writing the 50th right now; that’s my current project. It’s half exciting and it’s half absolutely terrifying because I know how excited people are and I feel tremendous pressure not to let them down. “Normally on Doctor Who I think that no one episode can be everything to everybody. You write one or someone else writes one and you think ‘not everyone is going to like it.’ You can’t please everybody all the time and it’s a mistake in a way to try. But you don’t want anybody to feel let down by a big anniversary episode. So that’s very hard. That’s the one when you want to turn to the entire audience and say ‘this one is for you.’”
http://doctorwhotv.co.uk/moffat-under-tremendous-pressure-for-50th-44184.htm Pointless - Doctor Who Celebrity Special
A special edition has supposedly been filmed of the BBC series Pointless, starring a number of Doctor Who alumni. In addition, final round voting is up for the NTAs. Just mentioning it as it would be nice for DW to pick up a few more this year. http://www.nationaltvawards.com/vote
I have a question, so basically the Doctor knows everything during the past he encountered, basically what I'm asking is does he remember changed timelines-changed history, while no one else does?
the rule of wacky timelines is if you were there at the moment of splitting then you can remember both
Is there anywhere I can watch the series starting with Christopher eccleston(spelling?) through to the newest?
uh netflix, dvd, amazon video that's about your only legal options [editline]8th January 2013[/editline] also i finally understood why the first 11 control room was so haphazard she never got time to properly make one so it was just stuff being thrown together
Doesn't netflix uk have a terrible selection of stuff though?
Today I discovered I can do a really good Steven Moffat impression. I'll add it to the long list and bring it out at Doctor Who related parties. [editline]8th January 2013[/editline] I stood infront of the mirror enthusing about the 50th anniversary and Sherlock. I actually started to believe it. [editline]8th January 2013[/editline] That's probably how Steven Moffat feels every day. How wonderful. [editline]8th January 2013[/editline] While doing this though I came up with a great thread activity. Write you own pre-credits sequence for what you feel should be the 50th anniversary special. I came up with a brilliant idea and would love us to all write one and share it. We never quite managed to write full episodes.
Please, record us some speech.
Doesn't netflix uk have a terrible selection of stuff though?
I don't know if this would make you able to watch DW, but it gives you the US netflix collection: Install Media Hint on firefox or download http://www.mediahint.com/media hint_0.1.11.crx and install manually on chrome. If you'd want the UK collection back you just disable it!

The older doctors (four, five, six, seven) had all been hiding out on this street for some time (hence they've all aged considerably) and eleven turns up and realises what's happening. Being the only non-human doctor remaining, he has to get all the other doctors to remember who they are and return them to their own times, all while trying to defeat the enemy that's been hunting them (which has been brought to the street due to the presence of a time lord doctor. But this is probably an awful idea.
