If it's a poster I want it. [editline]15th January 2013[/editline] It's the 50th this year and we're all hoping for a multi-doctor story. In 2 years it's the 10th anniversary of the show since revival. Should there be something to celebrate the accomplishments of the show? Maybe a multi-doctor with new doctors only? Too soon? Return of Captain Jack (if he hadn't already. Would it matter?)? [editline]15th January 2013[/editline] http://blogtorwho.blogspot.co.uk/2013/01/bfi-50th-screening-sky-news-report.html Nice interview with Sly and Colin Baker here on Doctor Who. Colin Baker looks really good actually. Lost a lot of weight. You can tell a fat person has lost weight when they can wear more than just a t-shirt.
http://tardis.wikia.com/wiki/Destiny_of_the_Doctor Maybe late, but I'm definitely keeping an eye on this.
I wonder if the 50th Anniversary would go well if it was a condensed adaptation of Destiny of the Doctors
I've been re watching all the episodes and a few things just stuck out and didn't make any sense to me. [sp]The Clerics (those church/army guys) work with The Silence to raise River to kill The Doctor. Yet Octavian tells him River is in prison for murder and he shouldn't trust her in the episode Flesh and Stone. Why warn The Doctor if it's the plan to have River kill him? While on the Clerics, I still think Omega is going to come into play. Those Omega 2 patches they had on just seemed out of place to me. Also there's the whole controlling the TARDIS and exploding it story line that hasn't been explained. Seems a bit weird not to mention it since[/sp] Maybe I'm just thinking too much into it.

Why warn The Doctor if it's the plan to have River kill him?
Story broadcast in 2011 so I removed spoiler tags. God this is annoyingly complicated, I'll try to simplify. River kills The Doctor in the 21st Century She's imprisoned in the 51st Century, this is when Flesh and Stone takes place Demons Run takes place in the 52nd Century. The easiest explanation is Octavian doesn't know why River killed The Doctor, just the she killed him. They probably weren't involved with The Silence at this point. He does describe The Doctor as a "Hero to many". Implying he didn't think The Doctor was a hero himself. Who knows.
Also there's the whole controlling the TARDIS and exploding it story line that hasn't been explained. Seems a bit weird not to mention it since
I think it was mentioned. But very briefly explained away. I think the explanation was "The Silence did it" in a previous attempt to kill The Doctor. Once it failed they kicked the "Project River Song" plan into action and that failed too. Basically the voice in the TARDIS said "Silence will Fall" and that has been revealed to be the motto or whatever of The Silence so it was them. I don't think Moffat really planned it out that far. The grand plan to stop The Doctor destroying the universe = Blow up the TARDIS thus destroying the universe. [editline]15th January 2013[/editline] Though I guess the 'Silence Will Fall' thing isn't really over so who knows. Honestly that and River annoys me. I never know what River we're getting now.
Finished watching all the episodes (well, 2005 series). [sp]Have to say I'm happy Amy and Rory fucked off. At first Amy might even have been my favorite companion so far, but then Rory. Mind you nothing really wrong with Rory, what was wrong with it was the two lovebirds babbling on about love and kissing all the time. Rose had Mickey but never got even close to being this persistent and annoying. I don't give a fuck about their love story, don't make it a major part of just about every episode. Also felt like later seasons had so much less. Haven't pinpointed what it is just yet, but if I look back on what I remember, 90% of the memories are from season 1 to 3 (and some 4), even though I saw 5, 6 and 7 more recently.[/sp] (spoilers of just about every season I guess).
I liked Rory more when he was just a clueless tag-along, like in S5. But by S7 he'd become all grown up and fashionable and trying to come up with witty one-liners and it just killed it really.

Amy's actor could have been replaced with anyone and the show could only gain from it. Overall I feel like Matt got gypped on the companion front.
Honestly Amy and Rory were both annoying by S7. Amy had this self-righteous I-don't-need-no-man attitude and Rory was that in a more subtle manner. I was glad when they went away.
So two friends on my robotics team recommended I watch this show. Holy shit, where has it been all my life. This is neat. And now I am going to 3D print so many of these its not even funny
I want it.
Kind of feel sorry for the 8th doctor. Only like four people in his section. Also, I still can't get my head around the voice that say's "Silence will fall" in the Tardis.
Kind of feel sorry for the 8th doctor. Only like four people in his section.
And one of them is the 7th doctor. :v: It's only because they were the main characters in the movie. The 8th doctor had by far the most non-televised stories, in novels, comics, audio plays, etc.
I would love to see renders of any sort of non-televised enemy, it'd be really cool For example, I'd really like to see how the Flood Cybermen would look

I like how 11's has the new Cybermen we haven't seen yet. Some figures at the back too faded to recognise. What is that behind the Silent? Actually everything in the row behind that Silent apart from the Robot-Sheriff and Vampire Fish I don't recognise. I prefer 11's bubble the most. Probably because I prefered a lot of his stories. The Girl Who Waited, Doctors Wife, The Lodger, Asylum of the Daleks, The Pandorica Opens, and Amy's Choice are among my favourite stories ever. He has the monopoly in my case. While Tennant in my opinion had a stronger series overall, Smith has stronger episodes. It's hard to explain. Like Queen had better Singles than The Beatles who had better albums. I could sit down and watch a Tennant series in whole and go "That was enjoyable". I could sit and watch a Smith one and go "That was alright" but the good episodes were REALLY REALLY REALLY good. Basically in my world I prefer Smith. [editline]16th January 2013[/editline] Nearly every bubble has a Master. Any bubble without a Dalek has The Master. [editline]16th January 2013[/editline] Seriously though what is it? If it's a poster I want to make it my goal to get it signed by Doctors and companions and shit.
I thought this was quite cool, its a picture of the BBC news reporting on Driving Errors in 1939.
Regarding this, someone should photoshop in all the doctors into the crowd.
The Lodger
Hey that's a point, where is Craig on this thing? http://24.media.tumblr.com/c554edcb29a9dc83790505de8d9f9ed4/tumblr_mgmejreNOp1ri2c37o1_1280.jpg
Even weirder is that weird fucking thing behind the Dummy. Looks like an angry Slitheen with a beak. I wonder if this is stuff coming up, the Cyberman is.
Those three on the back are Jenny, Strax and Vastra. With a Dalek on their left. Also the one behind the Dummy is the Dream Lord.
Those three on the back are Jenny, Strax and Vastra. With a Dalek on their left. Also that thing between Idris and River was in the S7 2013 trailer, so there's probably some other new stuff too.

just came across the old viral marketing website http://www.whoisdoctorwho.co.uk/ check out the links on the left under previous issues for some real nostalgia
Got a toy vortex manipulator and a TARDIS model in the post today, feeling well and truly Doctor Who'd up for the time being :v:
Quite alarmed how many views this got When I first uploaded the comments were "Great video" but as time has gone on people seem to think I am Chameleon Circuit and are complimenting me on the song. Recently the comments have just become about the song and lyrics. I feel like I've just witness some kind of video-comment-progression rule.
Carole Ann Ford and Dan Starkey will be joining JLC at Collectormania.
I googled Carol Ann Ford and found this: why.jpg
