I want to take it down because the comment notifications flood my inbox and I dislike Alex, Charlie and the Youtube crowd. But it's a decent video and people seem to like it. Makes me feel loved. I just want to feel loved.
goddamn is the first time we see the new control room in snowmen not the best scene ever or what
just came across the old viral marketing website http://www.whoisdoctorwho.co.uk/ check out the links on the left under previous issues for some real nostalgia
I'm the greatest
goddamn is the first time we see the new control room in snowmen not the best scene ever or what
Described in DWM as "the scene fans have waited 49 years to see."
Wow. It was good but not the scene fans have waited 49 years to see. Unless DWM writers are watching the show with a different set of objectives to everybody else. Most people watching over the last 49 years have been thinking "can't wait for more adventures in time & space". While DWM sobs "I just want to see a cool TARDIS reveal scene with the Eleventh Doctor and his second companion". [editline]20th January 2013[/editline] I waited about a month to see it. After that first picture came out. [editline]20th January 2013[/editline] Guess I'm just a shit fan
When I started watching Doctor Who in 1963 I thought to myself, "Man, I can't wait to see a new control room for the ship to be revealed by someone who won't be born for another 19 years!"
I think they were talking about how the camera goes from being outside the TARDIS to being inside the TARDIS in one shot without cutting, but just over-exaggerated how much people wanted to see it. RTD had previously said he'd wanted to have that scene in the first episode, but it was too complicated to do with the stuff they had to work with at the time so they just decided to not do it. Guess they've had enough time to figure out how to do it effectively :v: Although I think the camera was still a bit too quick during the scene, if they'd slowed it down, maybe started a little further away, to heighten the effect, and then had an extra five / ten seconds at the end before they cut to another angle - basically, if they'd just made the shot last longer - it might've been better. But hey, I'm not the director or editor or writer or anything so what do I know.
Now that I think about it, we haven't even seen more then a badly greenscreened picture from the doors through an open door (also i guess not only does he push, he opens both doors all the time now)
The thing with the 'push door' is Idris was wrong. She said the door says "Pull to open". It does. But that refers to the little door which houses the phone. Police box doors are push to open as it stops the person inside from getting out.
So, yeah I'm downloading rom of SMB1 so I can try out my new controller and this is the captcha. [t]http://puu.sh/1Q5UD/ss%20%282013-01-20%20at%2001.31.44%29.png[/t] (User was banned for this post ("Warez" - MaxOfS2D))

In it's natural form, you probably don't need to push or pull anything to enter the TARDIS. Actually, The Doctor only needs to click his fingers now.
I just realized that David was in Harry Potter.
And Spider-man was in Doctor Who.
[editline]20th January 2013[/editline] "Doctor Who is a lot more silly now Moffat is in charge" - Somebody who forgot shit like pig people
I think it's more that the pig-people were used as a threat and while I haven't seen it in ages, played for mild horror, while if Moffat was doing it it'd be "WOW LOOK AT THESE PIG-PEOPLE ISN'T THIS WACKY GUYS".
Why pig people anyway, in the early days the daleks had magic hats that turned people into slaves
Why pig people anyway, in the early days the daleks had magic hats that turned people into slaves
Presumably them testing out the whole gene-splicing species-combining thing.

The pig man on the far left just remembered he left the oven on at home
Oh god, David Tennant's last words. I'm still ugly crying all over the place and it ended 5 minutes ago. Shit.
The pig man on the far left just remembered he left the oven on at home
"ohink shit"
Presumably them testing out the whole gene-splicing species-combining thing.
But why? Addressing the issue "How do Daleks do shit without hands?" is silly enough without using "pig people" as an answer. [editline]21st January 2013[/editline]
Oh god, David Tennant's last words. I'm still ugly crying all over the place and it ended 5 minutes ago. Shit.
I assume you just watched it? Unless you're incredibly emotionally sensitive and when I posted the picture of him you've had a relapse to 3 years ago. [editline]21st January 2013[/editline] I think somebody on this thread made this really good point (if not I'll pretend it's my own). People confused The Tenth Doctor and David Tennant. His last words "I don't want to go" are interpreted to be David Tennant's sentiments not The Doctors. Which is wrong. David Tennant DID want to go.
And Spider-man was in Doctor Who. No, the evil plan was stopped by weather. [editline]21st January 2013[/editline]
The pig man on the far left just remembered he left the oven on at home
Nah he's sitting there thinking "OH MY FUCKING DAYS IT'S THE DOCTOR AND SPIDERMAN. WE'RE SO FUCKED. I LEFT MY AUTOGRAPH BOOK AT HOME AGAIN FUCK."
No, the evil plan was stopped by weather. [editline]21st January 2013[/editline] Nah he's sitting there thinking "OH MY FUCKING DAYS IT'S THE DOCTOR AND SPIDERMAN. Over all Dr.Who is better when he's more like the magician who has to figure out the illusions of another magician and at the end he puts it all together. Personally I find the Sci-fi EPs better than the ones which center around fantasy because you get a better explanation. I honestly find the Daleks, Cybermen and the Master much more interesting that the Angles, I know it won't happen by I wish the Doctor would find away to kill them off once and for all.
I assume you just watched it? Unless you're incredibly emotionally sensitive and when I posted the picture of him you've had a relapse to 3 years ago.
Yeah, I just started the series about a month ago and just wrapped up Series 4b. :v:
Weather is more powerful than a Baby. To be honest I don't think I've watched an episode and felt dissapointed. I just love Doctor Who that much. Apart from that one episode [editline]21st January 2013[/editline] [editline]21st January 2013[/editline] David's wearing is "you've got to be fucking kidding" eyes in this picture. His best eyes.
Started watching Doctor Who after I had surgery and I absolutely fell in love with it. Already been a few weeks and I'm at the beginning of season 7 :D
oh god it's covered in dicks
We need an interesting logo again for the 50th.
Circulating over the past few days:
Doctor Who is set to celebrate the sci-fi show’s 50th anniversary with a one-off adventure featuring all ELEVEN actors to have played the Time Lord since his arrival in 1963. Show boss Steven Moffat is close to completing a script which will see the current Doctor, Matt Smith, needing the assistance of ALL his police box predecessors – even if three of them have died. The half-century special, to be broadcast in November, will use studio trickery to resurrect the first three Doctors – William Hartnell, Patrick Troughton and Jon Pertwee – in brief flashback scenes. Tom Baker, Peter Davison, Colin Baker, Sylvester McCoy and Paul McGann have all signed up to record an anniversary audio adventure, and are keen to appear in the historic TV show, too.

When Christopher Eccleston parted ways with "Doctor Who" in 2006, in his mind it was for good. And even when fans were clamoring for him to return at least for this year's 50th anniversary special, it was a no, no, no, no, and a no. But something seems to have changed Eccleston's mind as he is now reportedly returning to "Doctor Who" just in time for a special that will celebrate (and include) all 11 Doctors. Even the ones who have already passed away.
All to be taken as the usual weekly rumours unless confirmed otherwise.
