Circulating over the past few days:
But something seems to have changed Eccleston's mind as he is now reportedly returning to "Doctor Who" just in time for a special that will celebrate (and include) all 11 Doctors
All to be taken as the usual weekly rumours unless confirmed otherwise.
YES, YES, YES. He is the best Doctor out there.
oh hello. [sp]the smith is a lookalike[/sp]
That lookalike is great. Haha, got to give it to Sylvester. Even though I'm a bigger Who fan than Hobbit, when I look at him I now instantly think "Radagast" not "Doctor" [editline]21st January 2013[/editline]
Circulating over the past few days: All to be taken as the usual weekly rumours unless confirmed otherwise.
Just reading these quotes or the full article that first appeared in the Birmingham Post and you can see the author is just speculating and pretending it's fact. I wish we had some sort of news on what would happen. Even hints. I just want to know if I should bother getting hyped for a multi-doctor story :(
Earlier today, Blogtor Who posted an article on the 50th anniversary - gathering details from their usually very trustworthy sources. It has since performed a sudden vanishing act. Peruse below with a whole tablespoon of salt. [sp]As we are now less than a year away from the Doctor Who 50th Anniversary special, Blogtor has collected some news that may or may not turn out to be true but come from trusted people (with no reason to lie). Anyway, here goes... • Filming starts in February 2013. • Running time of ninety minutes. • It is called The Eleven Doctors. • All remaining "Doctors" have been contacted (some time ago) and have all agreed to take part. • Earlier this year (was told this in June 2012), there were two versions of the story being looked at due to Christopher Eccleston's availability (probably around the time he was in negotiations for Thor 2). One version, dubbed "The Three Doctors" scenario, would see The Ninth Doctor feature akin to The First Doctor's role in the 10th Anniversary special (ie. limited). A second version features his character more fully. [I would imagine that, as filming is not far away, that a version has now been agreed upon.] • Initially, I was told that Matt would regenerate in this story, but earlier this year it was mooted that he would regenerate in a New Year's Day special. • The Mark Gatiss "genesis of Dr. Who" drama, An Adventure In Time And Space, starts filming in the latter half of January 2013. • Series 7 Part 2 (8 episodes airing in Spring 2013) will lead into the 50th Anniversary with appearances from past Doctors in some stories. [I should add, I've only heard this from one person and, personally, I'm not too sure of its veracity. Included for completion.][/sp] Blogtor don't usually post this stuff, and have not mentioned it since it was pulled suddenly without explanation.
That said, point 7 is already off. Filming most likely starts around Feb 13th. Though production has started on-location.
oh hello. [sp]the smith is a lookalike[/sp]
Has Sylvester always been so short?

TEGAN HAS NO AGED SHE MUST BE BROUGHT BACK [editline]21st January 2013[/editline]
Has Sylvester always been so short?
Yep. Shortest Doctor. But you get shorter with age too. Tom Baker however is still very very tall. [editline]21st January 2013[/editline]
That said, point 7 is already off.

They're all wearing the same clothes, so it was obviously the same day. So where was Colin in the first one? :v:
Probably out to lunch. That's not a fat joke. It's just every time I've been to events like this and gone to meet Colin he's either been out to lunch or about to head to lunch.
The more I read about Colin Baker, the more I think he likes his panto a lot more than he likes his Who work, who treats adult fans with disdain. Which is so wrong. That 20 something was a kid when you were the Doctor, you prick!
I think he's fine. He's just a cynic. Very cynical. Impression I get on Twitter. I like him, he got the shit on Who and handled it brilliantly.
To be fair, his Doctor was a huge arse to everyone anyway, and most doctors have injected something of their own personality into the role, so there you are.
I'm reliably informed Colin's baker was much better on Audio as it escapes shitty writing. I had nothing wrong with his performance in the episodes I've seen, just some of the writing. Infact I really like the arrogant Doctor. It was funny, Colin did it really well. Should never have been fired when writers like that had no idea what was going on.
If anyone's interested, Teefury has two Dr. Who shirts right now: http://www.teefury.com/
I've seen so many versions of that Pulp Fiction pose it just isn't funny anymore. So yeah, the first one.
I hate the shirts that just mash two completely unrelated things together.
I love the second one
On that note Sylvester was absolutely fantastic as Radagast, honestly one of the best casting choices in the Hobbit
Doctor Who programming in 2013... apparently.. https://twitter.com/BlogtorWho/status/293718450877104128/photo/1/large But it still looks like there's something hidden: https://twitter.com/ChrisChapman81/status/293417776100552706
I thought the 50th anniversary special was going to be 90 minutes? Unless that was just another rumour.
It was part of the rumour mill. This is the first potential confirmation we have had of anything 50th. They didn't even list a 2013 Christmas Special.
I'd have thought the first confirmation of a 50th anniversary special was Moffat saying he was in the middle of writing it when his son interviewed him.
We knew there WAS a special, obviously. Just no details about it. Split in to more than one? Running time? That sort of thing. Now it seems, 1x60. Not even the longest New-Who episode. Even The Eleventh Hour was 65 minutes... and that had hour in the title.
It's a real shame that the Brigadier won't be around for the 50th Anniversary, that would've been amazing.
Not sure if it is late, but they seem to be remodeling the cyberman. I wonder if they're going to be attacking a medieval festival, or whether it's actually going to be set in medieval times? Because the latter would be kickass. Also I'd just like to point out that I think this cyberman redesign is really fucking cool.
I think he will. It's probably going to be a sort of story where they impose The Eleventh Doctor into past stories and have him intervene behind the scenes. It's the sort of thing fans have been doing really well for ages on Youtube. I can't imagine what the production team would do with it. It'd be sad to not have multi-doctors but I really don't think it's going to happen. Moff knows what fans want and always avoids it and tries to surprise us.
Here's the second image fixed: [t]http://25.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_md4qwcOZ671qc9aego1_1280.jpg[/t]

In the trailer we see the new Cybermen march towards somebody wielding a medieval weapons (hard ot tell what it is) and rip it out of their hands [editline]22nd January 2013[/editline]
Here's the second image fixed: [t]http://25.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_md4qwcOZ671qc9aego1_1280.jpg[/t]
Hey they're different heights!
