I don't know when I see these news reports- whenever they cut to David Tenannt I feel giddy. He's not even my favourite Doctor. He's just a massive fun and such a big part of the show. He made Doctor Who stupidly popular, everybody I know watched it when he was in it.

Well, almost anything. Has it ever encountered something too old to translate except for in Impossible Planet?
I imagine The Doctor speaks English anyway. Otherwise he wouldn't be able to communicate with people who have never gone in The TARDIS. He's probably multilingual.

I would think they're supposed to look like the crew who filmed them originally. I doubt they're actually shooting the whole drama one old B/W cameras. Although it would add authenticity...
