I have never seen this ever but have heard of it then searched it in Youtube watched a video about angels. No sleep.
you should watch the full episode, it's one of the best of the new series. it's called "Blink"
Blink was an amazing episode.
Don't get me wrong, Blink was a great episode, but I think everyone overplays the scariness of the angels.
so what aliens has moffat created or linked to? angels, silence, vashta nerada, the empty child, what else? angels = fear of what you do not see silence = fear of what do you see vashta nerada = fear the shadows empty child = fear of being touched just curious if there's a pattern which could give a clue to what's ahead. Maybe a silent angel, or a silent vashta nerda angel that turns you into one and sends you back in time, "be careful of dust bunnies"
Speaking about fear of being touched, do the Dolls count for that catergory? After all, they do turn you into one of them, something I found sofa-worthy. And by sofa-worthy I mean get behind the sofa which the show is popular for.
Moffat didn't write that episode I think,(I was thinking of moffet's mind on what he'll write next besides christmas humay whumy episodes). On a side note my brother hated that episode, thought it was a repeat of Fear Her.
Well that sounds lazily like the robots in the episode after it.
The Empty Child is the scariest thing ever to me. I've never been able to watch it since first showing when I was about 8 or 9.
I found the old series to have far more scary moments, like with the gaint rat with the puppet and the lighthouse which I do not think could have gotten away with today.

The Chula Nanogenes and what they did were quite creepy for me once, but once I started playing Team Fortress 2, I can only think of Pyros when I look at the "gasmask zombies". Give the Empty Child a flamethrower and he's all set. Also, apparently in the earlier stages of development for the scene where Doctor Constantine switched classes to Pyro, there was the sound of BONES CRACKING. As if the transformation wasn't disturbing enough.

Hiding behind the sofa would make it worse, you'd lose sight of the Angel and get eaten by the shadows
Hiding behind the sofa would make it worse, you'd lose sight of the Angel and get eaten by the shadows
Plus you'd forget about the Silence
i've been thinking about how river song was conceived. theoretically the doctor could just revive the timelords by becoming a universal love doctor, luring companions into his tardis and getting them to bang while he travels through space and time. love-doctor who

I hope that the entirety of this story arc is FULLY wrapped up in Series 7. Otherwise, I would be extremely mad and would have to write an mad letter to the Moff to express how mad I was!
they're tailored so that even hiding behind the sofa won't save you
That's it! the next moster will be the sofa itself. Doctor who and the sofa monsters. (note the master did have a plastic couch which sufficated a person)

I'm still sad from that. ( Fyi, this is my actual comment on this (TheTailor25) )
A friend of mine convinced me to catch up on some of the earlier episodes, I owe him a beer.
A friend of mine convinced me to catch up on some of the earlier episodes, I owe him a beer.
If he and you were talking about the new series, then watch the old series. You'll owe me a keg.
Started watching the new series a few weeks ago, just finished the second season's final episode "Doomsday"; David Tennant's first season. I will say that is not the first time I have shed manly tears over this show.
