Okay... This was during 2012 Olympics, so... It should be David carrying the Torch, and it should be that torch they used in that episode. Were they unaware of that when they were making that episode?
Also, what the fuck. Will.I.am carried the torch too IRL, why the fuck couldn't David do it, when a one fucking US faggot can?
Will.I.Am didn't carry it. He posed with it I think. I would still have loved David in full Doctor outfit to run the last bit. Because frankly this is the Olympics in England and nothing would be better to represent us than The Doctor.
The best thing is you could just copy and paste those sentences into the dialogue.
On it. You're now semi responsible for this.
[editline]24th May 2012[/editline]
And it opens with The Doctor taking a poo. You know this is gonna be better instantly.
[editline]24th May 2012[/editline]
Seriously though.
After this I'm considering writing a SERIOUS 5 minute script. I think we should all do them as we never managed 45 minutes.
AMY: I'll incorporate that into my rewrite.
You could include that, make it so she's reading something like the Doctor's secret diary with a bunch of weird stories about all three of them, and she's re-writing them so that she's the main character, or something along those lines :v:

Agreed!
There should probably be a few rules or something for it, like, you have to be able to read it out-loud in under five minutes, allowing time for all the action-y bits and pauses or whatever. And maybe some kind of theme, like it's set entirely on the TARDIS or something.
I think as long as we have the common sense to go "Hey this is about 5 minutes long" it's okay. I think a theme would be good. Something broader than the ones the BBC chooses. Olympics is terrible.
What kind of theme though? I can't really think of a decent one, guessing you guys probably could though.

Matt Smith's gonna be carrying the Olympic Torch for a few miles in Cardiff :v:
Just came to post that.
Amazing. Best do it in Doctor clothing.
[editline]25th May 2012[/editline]
Star in TV show - Carry Olympic Torch.
Fuck. Good career move.
David should still do it.
David should still do it.
He'll probably do it somewhere in Scotland
It's a shame the story got somewhat mobbed by folk proclaiming that Smith should never have done it because it would have been better with Tennant.
But since he wouldn't have seem them, I hope he enjoyed it!

So, I just watched from '05 (Eccleston) to where most people are now [sp] The Wedding of River Song [/sp] but one thing irked me, how could (Spoilers because some people haven't watched it still, for some reason) [sp] the machine thing posing as the Doctor to fake his death, fake the regeneration light?[/sp]
It was probably holograms; unless [sp]the Tessalecta didn't have that tech[/sp], in which case fuck if I know.

It's a shape shifting, identity stealing robot and you don't think they could fake a few smoke effects? Not to mention the Doctor was with them for an undescribed amount of time, and could of improved the machine.
It's definitely a legit theory, that much is true; most likely is the right theory.
You got a shapeshifting robot with tiny people in it and you never considered it could turn on a bright light?
I just started watching Doctor Who (2005 and beyond) it's so addicting. I'm halfway through Season two but I miss Christopher Eccleston a lot though.

Tennant and Smith are superior Doctors. Eccleston was okay.
Benedict Cumberbatch and Matt Smith presented a BAFTA (British Academy Award) to Moffat this evening.
Was it a hilarious double act?
They were at ease in each other's company. They should do a show together or something
I think it'd be hilarious if in Doctor Who, the Doctor goes to 20/21st century Earth and finds that his former companion(s) made a TV show about him.
Wouldn't that be meta as hell, though?

Here's the video of them.

I love that Matt seems to be as barmy as the Doctor out of character.
It baffles me why Benedict doesn't keep his Sherlock curls
he looks like an old man that has sawn the face from a younger man and superglued it to his skull
It baffles me why Benedict doesn't keep his Sherlock curls
I don't know. Maybe because he's acting in something where he needs to have short hair. Like Star Trek or something
They finished filming that ages ago. And he had semi long hair for that too
[editline]29th May 2012[/editline]
I know Benedict puts a lot of emphasis on 'The Master' in his speech as it's Doctor Who related but why in a speech about The Moff? Moff has never wrote for The Master?
Or is this Benedict hinting at something to come? Ohh mad fan theories and wild leaps of imagination start now.
A return of the Master would be cool, but The End of Time pretty much booted him back into the Time War. So the only way to get him out would be something pretty timey-wimey related, be it the Master finding a way to smash open the time-lock (possibly linked to the Doctor's "true name") or simply bring an earlier regeneration into the show.

I dont hope that they are going to bring him because he had such good ending for him at the end of time.
and he went out of his life-forch when killing Rassilon and he and the link are now stuck in the time war where he most like died because i dont think he could regeneratd
Easy to bring him back. Just say some alien race transmatted him out at the last minute for their own motives. Either way it'd have to be Simms last appearance, his Master was greatly ill anyway, with Simms last appearance, or skip Simms regeneration because he should be dead.
