Apparently if Game of Thrones can do it. Oh dear
Is Rory the real father of Melody/River? Or do we still not know, since if it is the doctors, wouldn't it count as incest?
I want to watch a few episodes of Classic Who to see if it's good. What's a good episode to start on?
A lot of the episodes are missing and the really old ones suffer from horrid pacing and to be honest, they are terrible. If it wasn't for the Daleks the show would've been dropped back in 1963. Even worse a lot of the old episodes have been accidently deleted from the archives so they don't exist. It's impossible to watch in order. Just watch a bit here and there, Genesis of the Daleks is a fun one. [editline]23rd June 2012[/editline] That said The Five Doctors is also very good and the pacing is closer to that of the current series. Most fans say start with that one. The baby was a timelord because -Amy and Rory had sex while the TARDIS was in flight -This gave it an incredibly dorment Timelord gene that would probable never activate in a million years -The Silents cult decided to modify the babies DNA while it was still in the womb so it would be born a full timelord. They did this as they thought it the only way to stop The Doctor.
Oh okay, thanks.
I grew up on the old series I'm bias on the pacing, it was an old series from the 60s 70s and 80s so the pacing was that of its time, and I was pissed at first the new seires had one episode per story (how can you flush out a world or a time period without minor characters which had redcoats). So tom baker is pretty good and if you want to watch sarah jane smith go back to the third doctor and start from there. Also the doglass adams stories are good in their own right because it's douglass adams. tom baker had two scoops before matt smith. refering to a comic where 10th can't have icecream due to time lord responsibility
Ah yes, I remember that comic. "Yeah Amy, put another scoop on that bad-boy!" In regards to double-scoops, personally I feel that they're structurally-unsound and DESTINED to topple over before you're done with them. Just like one of my friend's girlfriends. (HEYOOOOOOOOO!)
So, are they going to do a series this year or what?

wow for one I missed this line to be funny, two the first edit was pretty good.
The title for the first episode of Doctor Who's seventh series and details of when it will first be screened have been revealed. [sp]'Asylum of the Daleks'[/sp] will be shown at BFI Southbank in London on August 14, preceding its assumed premiere date at the Edinburgh International Television Festival later that month.
August 25th is looking like a very likely start date. Bank holiday weekend to boot.
Spoiler tagging episode titles really isn't necessary man, it's Gonna be all over the place way before the episode airs.
-shrug- Saves me from pointless hassle.
after seeing the "good as gold" story my head hurts. Why are all the children scripts so out of place, ugg a weeping angel was able to chase someone in the olympic stadium, one of the most watched places on earth every four years and during the 10ths timestream of all places.

The olympic story those kids wrote. It was really bad.

D'you think that means [sp]political asylum, wherein they seek refuge from persecution[/sp], or [sp]mental asylum, where the Daleks are being driven to insanity (or even being driven to sanity)[/sp]?

Though if the fact turns out be that daleks do not purge themselves through extermination alone but rather the top daleks kept different daleks for their potential advantages would show more intelligence theirfore more power the daleks had.[/sp]
[sp]I'm guessing political asylum. The new Dalek Paradym are trying to exterminate the old 'impure' Daleks. The old Daleks may need help from the Doctor in order to survive[/sp]
August 25th is looking like a very likely start date. Bank holiday weekend to boot.
FUCK, if it is, then I'll miss it because I'm going to the Reading Festival.
daleks gonna dalek
If they had a 'Master' for the Matt Smith series I wonder who they'd get.
Benedict Cumberbatch
Does anyone have an HD clip of the Master with the gasmask putting two thumbs up from "The Sound of Drums"? If so, could you give me the link? Thank you very much!
That'd be very interesting indeed. I'd watch that SO HARD.
As opposed to watching it softly. Like I would. Also, I noticed that if you take the photo of Jenna-Louise Coleman and Matt Smith looking at each other and cover up some of Coleman's hair so it looks short, she is the bloody spitting image of someone who used to be in my Sixth Form class. Weeeeeiiiiirrrd.
