I heard somewhere that Series 7 will be more isolated to the series and less related to 5 and 6. ie, more like the excellent series 5 than the honest waste that was series 6. Except I can't find a source.

to paraphrase my brother, "series 6 besides the doctor's wife was terrible and the writter's should have been orginal then to reuse previous scripts". He also said that "the christlmass specials should burn in fire if they keep going in the same direction". A friend who I turned onto doctor who by having him watch Journey's End as his first episode, didn't like series 6. Another friend hates Amy and Rory and preferes RTD over Moffat. My dad who recorded the old series on a vhs from PBS (public broadcasting station), enjoyed the new series until the 11th because it's too hyperactive for him. I'm a layed back guy, I'll watch doctor who till I die, but I find that the people who I talk to in person like the RTD years over the Moffat years is vastly different to many people who post in this thread. So I do not think people who disagree should get agitated if people do not like the moffat. Now does this season 7 include another Neil Gaiman script? :D

The main problem with Series 6 was it had too many plot threads and not enough time to develop them all.

So I'm going to a fancy dress party on Saturday. Borrowed a Tweed jacket from my Uncle, got a blue shirt like the one he has in Closing Time, and my Dad's gonna get me a maroon bow tie and some braces tomorrow :v: :v: :v: And I'm definitely not running around in my tweed jacket with my sonic screwdriver pretending to be the Doctor. Just got done rewatching Impossible Astronaut/Day of the Moon. I think these are the best episodes of series 6. Possibly even since the revival. Am I overpraising them? Or do others feel the same? Also, the next fancy dress party I go to, if it's a general theme, or sci-fi, I'm going to just wear some kind of normal clothes, but have a marker round my neck, and have tallies over my arms and face.
