I know these used to be posted a lot before. Anyone know who the artist is?
Don't use spoiler tags if it's not a spoiler. Technically you can be banned for this, as garry only gave us the tags back on condition they were used properly.
Also, putting it in tags won't save you if shitpost or you post a meme.
So the first screening of Series 7 Episode 1 will be at the Edinburgh International Television Festival at 10am on Saturday 25th August, followed by live questions to Steven Moffat. Is anyone from Facepunch going to be there?

Actually, the first screening is next Tuesday (14th) at BFI Southbank. So let us expect full plot details on the 15th.

Who wants to read full plot details anyway?
I want to find out on my own.

Probably about half of the viewers who enjoy spoiling things. Which makes Moffat happy.
If it airs for the first time on the 14th, I wouldn't be surprised if it aired on TV on the 25th. It's a Saturday and 11 days after.
11 days, 11th Doctor.
Works for me.

I would be a little annoyed to have seen it at MGEITF on the 25th, only for it to be aired later that very day. But at the same time, it makes sense to keep it as close to the first screening as possible.
Plus Matt has said August in the past. BUT - the promotional material hints at September 1st. The first day of the Fall/Autumn TV Schedule.
Can't believe nobody has posted this yet.

One of the first 50th Anniversary announcements.
A drama about the creation of Doctor Who. About time, it'll be great.
I like the new trailer. That guy in the western with all the machine parts reminds of a Borg drone.

So much happened in doctor who they could create a lot more.
Sooo... nothing down for August 25th, I'm afraid. Money back on to September 1st.
I'm doing a test:
Avoid as much of what the plots are going to be minus the fact I know that Daleks and Weeping Angels are in it and so do you now.
I used to look into every bit of detail of each episode, such as what was to come. I want to surprise myself by watching the next time trailer or the actual episode.
I think we have been surprisingly lucky this year. Considering the extent of spoilers leaking over the last two series on filming alone - even if you went looking - you wouldn't find anything of substance.
I might avoid next time trailers and this thread for 5/6 weeks. How long is it?

I don't get your comment. This isn't set in the Doctor Who universe, what do you mean so much happened in it? This is the story of how the show came to be. How could they create a lot more? I'm genuinely baffled by your comment. You do realise this isn't the only 50th Anniversary thing right? This is an unrelated BBC 2 drama that co-insides with the anniversary. It sounds great.
Anyone seen this?

sorry, not only could they create a series on how doctor who came to be, but during the years when doctor who ran as well.
More filming news which I regret looking at, so Ill only post a link to the news article. I would strongly advise only posting about it in spoiler tags.

Ohh I get you, but those were considerably less interesting. You need to get everybody excited about Doctor Who come next year. Not think "Holy shit everybody involved in that is an a hole".
Aye; i'm not really one to watch Confidential, so Doctor Who documentaries aren't my thing.
Also, the link saying [sp]"xmas-filming-mad-as-a-hatter"; are they seriously gonna do an Alice in Wonderland kinda thing?[/sp] 'cause that would actually be kinda interesting.
It's not a documentary though, it's a drama. Somebody said "Docu-drama" on Twitter and Gattis told them no.

probably where moffat will get his inspiration from
I'm sorry, are those seriously vegetable versions of the Mad Hatter, March Hare, Dormouse and WHO THE HELL IS MISS ARTICHOKE FACE?!
What, what WHAT, so much what; why is this a thing? It's crazy and trippy, don't get me wrong, but why vegetable people?! (and one fruit person concerning the Tomato Dormouse)

I am thinking it is the Queen of Hearts, but I could be wrong.
I could understand that, probably, since artichokes do have hearts.
Speaking of artichoke hearts, I just remembered that one scene from Amélie; wherein the titular character chews out the greengrocer due to his abusive nature concerning his "mentally-challenged" assistant; saying "At least you'll never be a vegetable; even artichokes have hearts", or something like that.
I really should watch Amélie again some day; I enjoyed that movie...

The comic's title is "Salad Daze" Peri puts the Doctor on a strict vegetable diet so he can loose weight. Peri sees a device the Doctor was tinkering with and he says it's a personal reality warp. He runs off to do something and tells Peri not to touch it. So of course, she messes with it and it activates. She had been previously reading Alice in Wonderland so her reality was based around the book and vegetables.
