Rumours of an ad running early on BBC America which promoted the return of the show for September 8th in the US. Nothing confirmed though. Yet there also seems to be whispers of another ad running during "Copper" tonight.
Your profile picture is splendid
I agree, so I wish I could take credit - but it was a nice poster over at GB. Might be pushing it with the YT background, but hey, consistency.

Steve Coogan. Best known as cult comedy icon Alan Partridge and various comedy roles is an excellent actor and massive Doctor Who fan. I think he'd make a bloody Brilliant 12th Doctor, an older Doctor with all the gravitas that comes with his brilliant drama acting and his comedic timing would make him a fucking glorious Doctor.
How many seasons did the current Doctor sign on for?
No word. Papers said till 2014 but Matt denied it and said they must've signed somebody else before saying "I would've done it anyway" or something. I don't think he wants to leave. He knows a good thing when he sees one.
I saw a scattered few episodes of seasons 1 and 2, enough to understand the plot. Officially starting on season 3. All of my friends who are fans are pissed at me now :v:
But this is a good show, I'm enjoying it.

isn't he a cocaine addict and hasn't he been embroiled in multiple news stories involving drugs, prostitutes etc
Doesn't sound like a good one for the kiddies
Apparently a long time ago, most people his age have had some kinda of addiction. There were rumours he gave a ton to Owen Wilson but he denies it. He's been clean years.

Just heard an advert on Radio 1 for Doctor Who. It was kinda creepy, just a Dalek trying to say "Doctor" but sounded like it was in pain. Reminded me a bit of Dalek. Then it says "Save us" and the theme tune kicks in and we get that fucking "coming soon" again.
I just got to the end of Tennant's run in the series. I cried :(
But I do have to say, Fish Fingers and Custard. :v:
everytime I watch the space channel, and see a doctor who advertisement, I always go, "OH MAN THE DATE!! THE DATE PLEASE!!!"
Then the words come up;
"COMING SOON"
Like a big slap in the face and being told "FUCK YOOOOUUUU"

BBC 1, 1st September.
Could it be Doctor Who?
Was that dalek caan or davros behind The Doctor in that preview in the last shot? I hope so!!!
dalek caan was an awful sue
Clara will supposedly turn around The Doctor's use of "the legs" and the *big nose gesture* for Amy and Rory - and call him "chins."

Looks like a newer version of this
But the dome head is suspended above it to reveal the Emperor inside.
US Air date revealed.

BBC America then retracted this, announcing an air date release 'later this week.'

But they already had the Dalek Emperor in the first series, I doubt they'd have him reappear after he was... Well, dissolved into atoms. Unless they have a new emperor, or something similar.
There's more than one emperor, not sure how many have appeared in Doctor Who in total. Plus as this episode has "every dalek ever" it would be a shame to not make use of that design as it's kinda awesome.

Looks slightly newer in design, but it's clearly the Dalek leader as it's in a place on it's own. But that's certainly a helmet being suspended above it

Seriously. So the slot is even free!? I've never seen this before. A free slot and nothing in it when everybody knows only one thing is unannounced to be scheduled at that time.
At first I thought the BBC was having problems securing a time but now I think they're just being jerks and not telling us.

Well that confirms it then. Why is the beeb so hush hush about this? Are they going to announce it a week before just to surprise us? It'll be in the TV guides next Tuesday so I guess we'll know by tomorrow as they need a week to put it in print. So the BBC team can't keep this pointless secret any longer or they're causing problems all round.
No doubts about it, September 1st for the next season.

Still no official word though (And no word on why there is no word). Didn't we do it on the same day as America last year? It is possible it could be back the 8th.
8th or 1st are the too big speculated dates.

Does Radio Times do Saturday to Friday? If so, that would suggest it was on the 1st.
Yep. But they're ran front pages and stories weeks and even months before.

To me, the wording of the poster makes it seem like it is in the next issue.
Whats on TV mag has confirmed the start date as Saturday 1st September.

What a bust. You could use those for shelves.
I've said it before but she's very very cute. I prefer her to Karen in that department.
